Well we all know the ST3 is one crazy machine. Even Triumph think so

"The Street Triple 675 has masses of attitude and makes the most sensible rider grin like an idiot" (triumph website)

White - Practical/Boring color Not suited for this beast. Might as well by a honda
Black - Classy color Not suited for the bike. Might as well wear a suit and tie.
Green - Loud and crazy and yes somewhat tacky but perfectly suited to this bike.

I know this has been done to death and it's just my opinion

Have you seen the green in person, or just in photos? Not tacky.

I wasn't a fan of the white at first but it seems to work a lot better when you add the cowl, bellypan and rear seat cover.

I like the black and was after one, but would have had to wait 5 or so months at the time, so when I tracked down a green one in January I grabbed it.

I did e-mail the factory to see if they'd consider reviving the old "Nuclear Red" paint, but they didn't seem interested.

While I was waiting on my black Triplet, my dealer suggested that I could get a green one more quickly than waiting on the black.

I said that would be fine, I'd just get it painted Nuclear Red.

But, it didn't happen.

Anyway, for a pommie bike, you can't be wrong getting it in black.

Greeeeen

Green is a great color. It is not as dull as the Kawi green, and not too metallic yellowish. It is much more flashy than the other colors and that is why I like it. I too wanted the black but after seeing them all in person I liked, and still like green the best. I would like for them to come out with a triumph blue model though. and the new graphite is sick!

Black: takes all the details out of the bike
White: is a fashion color, I like it, if I ordered the Street last year, this would be the color of my preference
Green: very nice, you stand out in the crowd
Graphite: In my eyes, the best color of them all, even before the R was introduced with it, it's classy and the light plays with the color
Orange: again, the light plays beautifull with the color, a bit to flashy for me though
