THANK YOU I did this method last night, it was super easy and worked very well. But alas now the bracket for the stock bracket is just hanging out doing nothing, depending how anal I am feeling I may just end up pulling the tank just to remove the bracket.
It's a lotta work to remove those stinkin' brackets. The right bracket is easy, the left one, not so much.
Jus' thread a black cap bolt (M5 x .8) in `em until it's time to pull the tank/airbox.

Do you have these installed yet? Any pics you could share with us? .. looking to replace my mirrors and would like a stock look that doesn't widen the bars (need to keep my profile thin) :)
I'll have pics up today.

Well I have a lot of bikes and have dolled them up as well. Every time I found something else that I wanted I always never got out close to what I put in them. I tend to bank my money instead of putting too much money in them so that I have the money to reinvest in my next one. There will always be something that will catch your eye in the future like maybe a new Steety with with a full HP Daytona engine in it. That is what I'm waiting to see.

ah i see... well I would like to own a super sport one day but I would have 2 bikes then. I honestly think the streety is a perfect bike. I dont need something that goes 180mph, the acceleration is plently for me and if I got a super sport it would be a 600 or 750, no need for 1000. But people do change their mind alot and you never know what will come out next. I plan to keep the streety for at least 5 years min.

The longest that I have had a bike was about 5 yrs. and the shortest was just a month. The later was an 83 Kawasaki 750 Zepher. I traded in on an 83 Ninja ZX6 E model of which I had for 5 yrs. Loved that bike. And the street triple reminds me of it a lot but more comfy.

Just set up the cbr shock after fitting 550 lb spring to st3 and works brilliant, well pleased.

But...altered the geometry somewhere along and now slght understeer on slow corners and oversteer on fast corners, rather the other way around.
Tried lowering rear end and too much understeer at low speeds.
Also tried raising the front end and again too much under steer at low speed.
Anyone else had this problem?
