I installed the rest of my frame sliders from motovation. Got the front, rear and engine ones done... and did the rim tape yesterday :)

Rode it in the rain. Didnt mean to, but it was raining when I left the gym this afternoon. Normally I wouldn't be to excited about getting home soaking wet, but upon walking in the door I discovered my carbon Rear Hugger finally arrived. Now to figure out what size bolts I need to source as the hugger came with no hardware whatsoever. Can anyone tell me the thread pitch and length I need to pick up?

Bought it from Bestem USA.

THANKS!

That is because you, most likely, bought the Triumph branded hugger. I'll bet the carbon one is off-brand.

Thought about getting a Triumph one myself, might just have to return this one.

Picked her up from RI on Wednesday and have been riding nonstop before leaving for school today. Long time lurker on this forum and I cannot believe I can finally say I'm an owner. I will be sure to post up some more/better pics shortly. Thanks to everyone for the info and inspiration. First bike and I am in love...

congrats! and welcome!

I just installed a smaller radiator cowl. Doing a simple write up now just for a 'visual install' for others.

Write up is here for the 'simple version' of the radiator cowl install

After 15,000 miles of daily commuting and weekly spirited canyon runs, I finally replaced my rear tire with another Michelin Pilot Road 2. There was probably another good 5,000 miles left on this one before it hits the wear bars, but there's really no need to push it. I'm convinced that they are the perfect street tires.

It was 101 degrees in the shade (official high was 106), with 2 fans going,

but jdgun_13 and I got 'er done!

D675 front-end conversion.
109 Here today and it was 113 yesterday. I rode around 75 miles today to go meet my son at a car show. And I still wore my vented jacket. Glad to see you got the conversion done.

Took the front end apart because I thought one of my fork seals was leaking. Was going to bring the forks in to get new seals and fluid. Found out it was much worse than that. :(

I feel dumb for not seeing this when I bought the bike, but it was turned inward toward the wheel...like the seller intentionally turned it to hide from the next owner. It is real apparent the previous owner wrecked the bike since the rim was bent, the radiator cowls and signals were taken off, and this fork is damaged. I cannot stand dishonest people. I think this may be the last used motorcycle I purchase unless the bike has less than 5k miles or a year of riding. My luck just isn't there with used bikes.

sucks dude. sorry to hear that. I had a hard time finding a 'well kept' used bike for a long time, and those that were in 'ok' shape were way over priced. That's how i ended up with the new bike. Peace of mind really. Look on the bright side, these 'fixes' will only bring you closer to your bike and you'll learn a ton from it. Fix her up good and then you can be the new 'responsible' and 'honest' owner of it.

Installed a gel seat. My original seat cracked and eventually the cover was falling off so that the foam was showing. This only happened on the lighter gray material located on the very front and very back of the R seat. Not too happy with that since the bike was garaged for the first year of its life and during the winter. It does stay outside now.
