I installed the rest of my frame sliders from motovation. Got the front, rear and engine ones done... and did the rim tape yesterday :)

Installed annitori quick shifter but am yet to test it out:verysad::verysad: pulled off the tank and air box, connected everything up, gave it a clean put back on the air box and tank, then after many attempts the bike finally fired up and ran rough with the check engine light alight, the idle sort of smoothed out but seem to idle higher then normal.

After a bit of searching on the forum realised I hadn't connected the vacuum line to the map sensor, so the test will have to wait till tomorrow.

Got bored with the bike being stock for so long (5 days) so fitted a few goodies :smilielol5:
Bar end mirrors, Evotech tail tidy, LED indicators, shorty levers, quick shifter, anodised brake reservoir, seat cowl, chain toe guard.
Also removed pillion pegs.
Checked the sag and set the damping to comfort.

Then tripled the displayed mileage (300km now)

I'll fit the rest of the bits next weekend, and the Arrow the weekend after, just before the first service.

Bought it new shoes

Actually busy, busy weekend with the Striple, fitted new front brake pads, had a set of Dunlop Sportsmax's fitted, and replaced the TOR Exhaust with a second hand Dan Moto system, only a touch louder than the TOR pipes and around 5 Kg lighter, woo as they say who and went back to the narrower BMW K75S bars.:grouphug2:

I use that in my garage and have nothing but good things to say about it. I have a hard time imagining how a pitbull stand is any better. It lifts the tire off the ground and rolls around my garage just fine. The only thing I can think of that would be better would be something with 360* casters so I could shove it into a corner sideways. But it's hardly a concern.

Today I got up at 6am(23F) and went for a ride. I was headed to meet some ADV guys who were dual sporting in the Ozark NF. I haven't ridden the StRiple in a week and figured I ride street today, instead of dirt. After 10 miles, I stopped for fuel. Once I was done fueling up, I hit the start button and... no love. After a few attempts to push start, on my own, a guy at the station gave me a push. Got it rolling, 2nd gear, pop the clutch and the StRiple fired up. I rode home, put the bike up and went back to bed. Yesterday I fixed a short on my 650GS but didn't even think to put the StRiple it on the trickle charge. Oh well, live and learn...

After I replaced the rear brakes on my wife's car, I washed the StRiple and adjusted the headlights, hoping to improve my evening commute.

Uncovered her today,
Looked at her Sexy Naked ST3 Body, Gently touched her Shiny Black Skin (paint),
Stared into her big beautiful Eyes (headlights),
Whispered to her, baby you need Protection,
So i ordered her:

Scorpio I900 kit,
Remote Ign/Disable, (does work) I tried

Full GB Racing Crash Protection kit.

Then I whispered to her, Wait a week till your fully protected baby, ( Insurance, Alarm, GB Crash Protection Kit )

Thanks TJ @ Ridersdiscount for sorting us out.
