We're currently looking for anyone in the L.A. area with a 2013 factory 675 who'd be interested in loaning their time/bike for design and test fitting.

Rider gets the first exhaust free!

I think they are looking for a 2013 D675. I emailed them back about a month ago asking if they had any plans to make an exaust for the bike. Super friendly folks. I've always loved the way their exhausts look and sound. I wish I was in LA though!

Just curious what's the estimated turn around time?

Hey guys,

Thanks for such awesome responses. Sorry for the vagueness in the initial post--it's a 2013 we're looking for.

We'd need the bike for 2 weeks for prototyping.

Exhaust design and development (which the bike won't be needed for) is 4-6 weeks.

We'd need the bike again for another 2-3 days for test-fitting and photography, and then the rider would be able to leave with the exhaust installed.

@ '13daytona- Lol. I emailed them a little while ago too. I love taylormade exhaust and would def get one if made. I also emailed hotbodies about making an undertail, but they flat out said no
We'll definitely take a look at getting a fender eliminator designed for this bike, too!

Would a 2013 675R qualify?
I sent you a PM yesterday. I would be very interested in being the guinea pig :]

Hugeeee shoutout to Taylormade Racing for picking me to be the lucky man with the first 13 d675R Taylormade exhaust!

Dropped my bike off yesterday, met Mr. Taylor himself and he showed myself & friends a few projects they are working on outside the 675, gotta say they have big things coming up and I can't wait to see the finished result on my baby :rofl2:

Of course, I will keep everyone updated with any news Mr. Taylor gives myself and happy riding!

Just got my bike back from Taylormade Racing.
Good news is; they can make an exhaust for us! Mr. Taylor again was very kind and generous and tried to fill me in with everything they have discovered and accomplished...yet I am not an engineer so I understood half :(
What I did understand is in about 4-6 weeks they will be ready for me to bring the bike back have it fitted, take pictures, and he's thinking of creating a play by play video for easy installation as well. Then production soon after!

Also, for the street triple riders...your time is coming.

No unfortunately didn't have time to talk about everything seeing as I was trying to beat traffic home from L.A. so that I could enjoy my bike in one piece. However yes he did show me exactly what he had created however he and his designer have been going back and forth from London making adjustments here and there but each one looked pretty sexy to me
