I believe the Triumph, Suzuki, and Yamaha wrenches are all the same. I do know for sure the Triumph and Yamaha ones are.

 

I'm guessing the 4mm difference doesn't matter too much since the torque on the oil filter is so low anyway?

Yeah, I guess. The manual calls for 10nm. That's like 7 ft lbs of torque, which is next to nothing.

 

The plastic Triumph oil filter wrench is stepped to work on both 65mm and 68mm filters - they have used both sizes for stock filters over time, and these are the most common sizes on sport bike filters. Which one you need depends on the brand of filter used.

 

K&N filters have a small hex stud shaped on the bottom & can just use a socket wrench.

 

Changed oil and filter over the weekend. The 68mm one I have is definitely too big for the OEM Triumph filter. I just tightened it by hand and then a little extra with a large pair of pliers.

 

Tighten by hand and try removing by hand. If you cannot remove by hand, use this handy tool as a last resort. It has saved me a bunch of times:
