Hi everyone

Maybe you guys can help a dumb ass swede out.

I also have the zero gravity double bubble and the white/blue daytona 675 2009+.

But how did you guys install the windscreen?

Remove the 4 screws on the screen, remove the mirrors.

and then?

Should i just pull the screen or is there some kind of trick to easally remove it?

something more that needs to be removed?

Hopping for help.

My double bubble gets here tonight. I will have it on before morning, I will let you know if there is anything that is not obvious.

Yeah should be pretty straight forward. I put mine on my '08 about a month after I got the bike and to what I can remember it was pretty much unscrew, refit, rescrew. It my feel a little sticky due to build up under the screen etc., but its nothing a bit of gentle prying can't handle.

Trust me, way easier than you think.

That sounds about right. It was a pretty easy/ quick install on my old cbr. The one I ordered for my D675 will be on later tonight once I get up to my parent's place. I'll update once I'm through.

Thanks alot!

The thing is that its super easy on the daytona 06-08. But the screen is a little diffrent on the 09-10. Maybe its also easy we will see..

So please post a reply. I hade an achilles tendon ruptur 4 weeks ago so i dont wanna be standing on one leg longer time then i have to:coolgleamA:

I just did mine last night. 8 screws and you don't need to remove your mirrors at least i didn't. as was mentioned be careful not to loose the rubber/gromet/nuts. Trust me it happens very easily especially the ones in the front. I have to locate the one i lost last night.

Nothing worse then loosing a nut :rofl2:

On the 2010 model you have to remove the mirrors or buy new faring :). The screen is fasten by the mirrors and 4 screws + some hooks on the screen that should be fittet in the fairing. (its only 8 screws on the 06-08 model)

The installation is pretty easy. Just be sure not to break the fairing when removing/installing the screen.
