i bought mine off a forum member but he forgot to provide the 4 collared spacers that came with the kit.

i cant use the oem spacers since they dont fit with the evotech kit

anyone know where i can buy them and what size it is?
home depot? radio shack? preferably some where i can go buy in person since my bike is naked and want to ride it as soon as possible.

Your instructions were very helpful, although in one of your pics you have one of the signal lights wired wrong,( should be white to blue, not black to blue )
came here to post this!

On another note - I ordered a unit from a retailer and it was missing the evotech light unit... I guess i'll have to wait another week to complete my installation.

Bump... Same situation here.

Seems to be a thing that's happened before ....

All of the documents and posts here indicate the light should be included with the 13+ kit but I've checked five times and and it hasn't materialized. I did receive the correct part number for my bike, 010833. It has all the necessary connectors and screws, but the light didn't come in the package.

Did you have to purchase this separate?

if anyone needs this in 2017 ;)

The only reason those two halves need serious pressing is because of the wiring. I routed the wiring around the guide pins and it came together smoothly, barely applied any pressure at all.
same here, no force necessary to press the halves together, if you route the wiring precisely.

Moreover, do not bother to complete the wiring before installing the kit. Replace the spacers, route the blinkers wiring + plate light into the compartment under the passenger seat, mount the kit and than connect the wiring. You can easly check if the L/R blinkers are connected correctly.

I still need to figure out how to add the red reflector. I don't think the way I left it is all the way correct even though it looks great. Anybody out there know?
I lowered the plate so the red reflector (comes with the kit) can be placed right below the plate light (and cover the c'sunk screw), as it is in OEM.

Update 2018

Update for 2018 - The tail tidy provided for the 13' - 16' contains easy connect bullet plug connector - in other words no wiring or crimping. Just use what's in the kit without additional tools. Also to mount the tailtidy frame to underneath the seat you use 2 supplied bolts/screws and two that came off holding the turn signal indicators.
