That's a great question. It is one of those things most of us don't consider since "it won't happen to me..." When I crashed my wife was able to handle things alright but she did have some help from the others at that track. I guess it alll depends on who you're pitted with.

 

When we dirt bike in the desert we always keep the keys in the same spot AT the truck so no matter who makes it back can rescue or rally to the rescue.

Hardest trip so far was when my pal pulled the unintentional superman and dislocated his shoulder 85 west of Salt Lake City in the middle of nowhere. Ever see a grown man cry? It hurt like a mofo and I had to reset his shoulder, load both bikes up a VERY steep ramp, and rally the truck to the hospital while feeding him beers to numb the pain. All the while watching tears trickle from underneath his sunglasses because his shoulder popped back out when he reached too far across the interior to grab his cell phone - and it didn't go back in for 45 minutes until the docs got a hold of him.

Ouch.
