All information comes directly from the Triumph Service Manual for the Triumph Street Triple and Daytona 675 up to 2008. If anyone would like to add the changes made to the 09' + Daytona specs feel free to add them. Lets try to keep this organized and not just a free for all. I take NO responsibility for any damages you may cause to your motorcycle. Here goes...

All Red highlighted items are cross-referenced in the FAQ in the Manual because they require specific tightening patterns, reference the service manual for your bike. If you are this far into it you should own a service manual anyway.

All Blue highlighted items are in reference to the Daytona 675R model specifically.

All Green highlighted items are in reference to the standard Street Triple model specifically.

Diagnostic Trouble Codes

Diagnostic trouble codes (DTC's are logged in the ECM memory when there is a confirmed fault in the system. Typically the indicator light will turn off after 3 no-fault cycles of the system and the DTC will be erased from the ECM memory after 40 no-fault cycles. There are exceptions to this, but that is the general practice of the system. For further information consult the service manual.

Wow, I can't believe I typed all of that. 2 beers in :drinkers:
I can't believe you did either, but well done! You don't get out much, do you? :biggrinjester:

Thanks for posting that up. I took your idea and ran with it a little bit. I put this info into a spreadsheet that I printed off and stuck it in my tool box. I also added a Newton Meter to Foot Pound conversion in a list format. Lets face it digging around on a computer or the service manual with hands covered in grease kinda sucks.

I also added my Instrument Cluster Cheat Sheet for the three button instrument cluster.

Let me know what you think.

06/07/11 Corrected Missing Gear Pedal Pivot Bolt Value

This thread would've come in handy, I managed to shear off a bolt in the alternator cover! I used a racket to turn it and didn't apply much leverage at all but the bolt just didn't seem to get tight enough till it snapped off! I guess I overestimated how much 9NM actually is. I do have a torque wrench but it doesn't measure that low.

Fortunately with the missing bolt I'm not getting any leaks so I might just leave it like that till the next major service.

Maybe I'll go through and add the Ft/lb numbers as well.

GREAT POST!!!

OK, added the known spec differences for the 675R model thanks to CJC  I also attached the scans of the new service manual to the first post.

The 675R Specs that pertain specifically to that model are highlighted in blue.

Also the specs that pertain specifically to the Standard model Street Triple are in green.

Otherwise the models are the same, quite often the Daytona and Street Triple R are the same since they use similar suspension and brake components.

If there's any major confusion or you desperately need these specs just buy a freakin' manual. They are worth every penny.

Enjoy ya'll.
