Anyone have a 675 parts compatibility list they can share? I know things like a GSX-R brake lever and front sprocket fit. Trying to compile a complete list of parts from other Triumph or non-Triumph bikes that fit.

TIA.

UPDATE 7/18/09. Thanks to all who provided inputs and keep 'em coming including any updates/corrections to the existing list.

**DISCLAIMER: Nothing's perfect, use these suggestions at your own risk.

1. Oil Filter: BMW, 2007 CBR600RR, CBR1000RR
Comments: Direct fit.
K&N part number KN-204 fits almost every bike you can imagine including ours!

2. Fuel Pump: Yamaha R1 (2004+), Triumph Sprint 1050.
Comments: R1 fuel warning indicator is in a different place but it's fine for a track bike. Sprint 1050 pump connections identical to D675, but slightly different internal to the tank - fixing plate needs another notch filing in it to orientate the pump in the tank correctly and fuel sensor does not work.

3. Brake Lever: Suzuki GSX-R (2003+ GSX-R750, 2004+ GSX-R600, 2005+ GSX-R1000, 2008 GSX1300BK B-King)
Comments: Direct fit.

4. Front Sprocket: Suzuki GSX-R 600 (01-07), Suzuki GSX-R 1000 (01-07), Suzuki GSXR 750 (00-07), Yamaha R6 (99-01), Yamaha R5/RD 350, ZX-10
Comments: Direct fit.

5. Throttle Tube: Yamaha R1, Triumph Speed Triple, Triumph Sprint 1050
Comments: Direct fit.

6. Fuel Tank: Triumph Speed Triple
Comments: Direct fit.

7. Front Brake Pads: Yamaha R6 (2006+), Triumph Speed Triple (07-08), ZX-9R F1-2
Comments: Direct fit. ZX-9R F1-2 kawi part number 43082-1290 (has 3 grooves instead of 5).

8. Rear Brake Caliper: Yamaha R1, 03-05 Yamaha R6, 06-up Yamaha R6S
Comments: Direct fit.

9. Mirrors: Ducati, Suzuki GSX-R, Triumph 955
Comments: Some mods needed. See threads below.

10. Clutch Perch & Lever: Yamaha R6 (2001)
Comments: Possibly other model years fit as well. Fine on race bike, may or may not be issue for street.

11. Steering Head Bearings: Yamaha R6 (99-01)
Comments: Probably compatible with other bikes as well.

12. Forks: Honda CBR 600RR (08), Kawasaki ZX6RR (03)
Comments: Honda 600RR is direct fit (may have to use RR axle). On Kawi forks, need to swap out the caliper blocks at the bottom of the forks. Caliper block is different to accommodate smaller axle - but fork tubes, caps and internals are the same.

13. Head Stock: Suzuki GSX-R1000 (05-06)
Comments: Direct fit.

14. Headers: Triumph Speed Triple
Comments: Direct fit.

15. Rear Swingarm Bobbins: Yamaha R6
Comments: Direct fit. 6mm bolts.

16. Footpegs: Honda CBR1000RR (04-08), Yamaha R1 (03)
Comments: Direct fit. Other model year Yamaha R1 may fit as well.

17. Front Brake Calipers: Triumph Speed Triple (07-08), Suzuki GSX-R1000, 750, and 600, 06 R6
Comments: Speed triple is direct fit. Suzuki calipers line up fine, but need to drill bolt holes out a little and add spacers to distance radially.

18. Wheels: Yamaha R6 (03-07)
Comments: Mods required.
Trackday wheel options - Triumph675.Net Forums

19. Front Brake Master Cylinder Reservoir Assembly: Yamaha R1
Comments: A near perfect fit. R1 assembly is probably less expensive as well.

20. Clutch Lever: Triumph Speed Triple (04-07), Speed Four (05-06), Daytona 600/650 (04-05), 955i (04-06), Sprint ST/RS (04-07), Thruxton (04-07), Bonneville T100 (06-07), Tiger (07), Rocket III (04-07)
Comments: Direct fit. These are based on comparing Pazzo Lever part numbers, so there may be some variation for OEM or OEM direct replacements.

21. Rear Shock Mounts: Yamaha R6 (99-02)
Comments: Direct fit. Aluminum and about an 1/8 inch lower than OEM 675.

22. Fork Seals: 05 R6
Comments: Direct fit.

23. Wheel Bearings and Seals: Suzuki, Honda
Comments: Suzuki rear wheel bearings (2 Req, SUZ P/N 08133-62047), Suzuki front wheel bearings (2 Req, SUZ P/N 08133-60047), Suzuki rear left outer wheel bearing - sprocket carrier (1 Req, SUZ P/N 09262-25061), Rear left oil seal - sprocket side (1 Req, SUZ P/N 09283-35028), Front wheel oil seals (2 Req, HONDA P/N 90753-074-003), Rear right oil seal - brake side (1 Req, HONDA P/N 91252-KZ4-003).

24. Crankshaft Position Sensor: Aprilia 450 RXV
Comments: Model year has not been determined as of yet.

Hi everyone,
I'm just going through the Front Caliper Change from Gold to Black,
I have a 06 D675, which had the Gold Calipers on it and I'm changing them to the 2010 D675 Black Calipers,

I have just noticed another slight Difference between 06-08 Gold & 09-12 Black calipers, is the Bleeder location & Banjo Bolt location,
Refer to pic

Which means I need the "10" D675 Front Brake lines because the "06" D675 lines don't fit.

Looking for a compatible rear brake rotor. They seem to be over priced here in Oz.

Wondering if the 09 CBR600 rear rotor fits as they look similar...

My contribution: front brake pads for 11/12 675R Brembo calipers. Sometimes you'll find the pad you want advertised for a good price, but not for the Daytona. I pilfered this list from the Galfer pads that I use.

And looking at my buddy's F4, I think it also has the same calipers. I gave a guy on a gixxer some old pads at a track day, they dropped right in.

I think these bikes all have the same Brembo calipers, so it might be possible to replace a caliper with one from these bikes. But I'm not sure about that.

Edit: searched the part number (Galfer FD373G1375) on eBay, also compatible:
2009 - 11 Aprilia RSV4
2009 - 11 KTM Supermoto 990
2007 MV Augusta F4

And, case in point, a listing didn't come up for the Daytona.

Anyone know what the difference between the 06-12 and 13+ Samco silicone hose kits is, and whether a 13+ kit will still fit the 06 model?

Also will the Genuine engine case covers from the 13 fit the o6?

Looking at some barely used second hand stuff for the old girl...
Thanks in advance

Thanks MacBandit... guess you just saved me some bucks.

I'm curious to know if the Brembo rear caliper and mounting bracket from a 2013 Street Triple R (Or Daytona for that matter) will fit on the swingarm of an 07 Daytona 675.

I found a good deal on a caliper/bracket assembly on eBay UK for a Brembo caliper and bracket.

Here's a pic of the brembo caliper and bracket off the 2013 street triple 675

Compared to the 07 rear brake caliper and bracket:

Has anyone done this swap? The calipers appear to be unique to the mounting brackets, but the brackets look very very similar. I can't tell for sure in the pictures which is why I'm asking for some extra insight here....

There are a few issues I can think of:
whether or not the slider tab is the same height above the axle mounting hole. (If that's not the case, don't bother reading the next points)
Any other clearance issues between the bracket and the swingarm. But these could be easily "massaged" with a grinder.
The contact patch of the pads on the rotor should be the same or very close. Therefore, the distance from the centerline of the axle and the angle relative to the rotor need to be the same. Otherwise, I'll need to replace my awesome "barely there" aftermarket rotor. (There's no way to explain how it looks in words... you need a picture.)
Image

While there's hardly any material on the rotor surface compared to a full disk or even a drilled disk, it grips the same as the stock rotor. It saves a little weight and dissipates heat better than any other rotor I've seen (Which is good because the lack of material causes it to heat up faster than the stock rotor). I got it because I wanted a more exotic look that doesn't look tacky and mismatched. Since I don't have wavy rotors on the front, it would look stupid to have a wavy rotor on the back.

It survived a grueling 2 mile highway ride when the rear caliper stuck when I applied the brakes to slow down for a slow poke.

NOTE: If anyone has this or any other interchangeable brembo brake parts, I have lots of extra factory and aftermarket parts to trade.. I have 2 complete Nissin rear brake assemblies and 1 extra rotor. I'd be more than willing to part with all of my extra brake parts for 1 complete Brembo rear brake assembly including the bracket, caliper, line, and master cylinder.

On the same topic, but far less feasable,
I know that Brembo made a one-off low slung bracket to mount a 2 piston caliper for their project bike. Here are some pics for your enjoyment:

Back to reality. Because that's made of pure unobtanium, I have to stick with stock parts and outwit the people who haven't recognized their interchangeability.

http://www.triumph675.net/forum/showthread.php?p=3730546 Here's the thread for this. While reading the thread, someone claimed to have made his own bracket out of a piece of aluminum and some other bits to mount a larger brembo caliper in the rear.

While still on the topic of brake parts, interchangeability and upgrades... are there any rear mounting brackets that will fit from other bikes to allow an upgraded caliper or an underslung location or a larger rotor from another bike?

I know that there are several applications that have an interchangeable brembo rear master cylinder, such as the 04-up Yamaha R6 and R1. The same is the case for the front master cylinder, although you need a different lever.

I know the factory setup is capable of locking up the rear tire, even with no front brakes applied. (Even with my "barely there" saw-looking rotor). I'm not necessarily interested in more "stopping power", as much as I am interested in more reliability, a better pedal feel, and most importantly, getting the same stopping power without taxing the rear brake as much and reducing wear and tear, and pad wear.

I'd really love to find a "big brake kit" that repurposes a front caliper with a larger rear rotor, perhaps using a front rotor with a different hub that fits the rear wheel... The stunting guys do it a lot.. Here are some examples I found:

http://stunterx.com/s/products/stun...rx-motorcycle-stunt-parts/stunter-x-dual-caliper-bracket-big-rotor-kit-upgrade/

Saving the best and most ridiculous for last, here's a triple caliper setup with a front rotor on the rear... And coincidentally, it's on a Daytona 675 as luck would have it.
Image

http://www.cycleworld.com/2012/12/2...12/12/25/stunt-bikes-technically-speaking/stunt-bikes-technically-speaking_001/

Those all look ridiculous. But it would look pretty neat to have larger front rotor and monobloc 4 or 6 piston caliper on the back.. Looking at this picture, the larger rear rotor actually doesn't look very good on the back... I'm surprised that I like the look of a smaller rotor. So, it would be important to choose a rotor that has a very open design, similar to the one I have in the back, except larger.

Sorry for the tangent. Can I swap to the brembo rear caliper on my 07 675? Is there anything more worthwhile to swap to, like an aftermarket bracket that fits a front caliper on the back?

Anyone willing to trade parts? I have an extra set of woodcraft covers... An extra stator, a set of anodized rearsets for a "speed" triple and some other goodies, not to mention a bunch of factory replacement parts...
