The Bosch 72161 is a direct fit for BMW motorcycles so it can be assumed that it will fit the Triumph as well. I've recently ordered a few to have on hand for my customers and friends BMWs I work on so I'll post back in the spring when I change my oil next time.

Going off the cross-reference charts it doesn't appear this is the correct filter, instead the Bosch 3323 would be. The 72161 may indeed fit, it just isn't the same size filter.

I used the Amsoil and K&N apps, 675 shows same applications as a CBR, BMW shows another filter app for both. Again it could fit but just be a different size or design.

You might try using the ebc number to give you other bike manufacturers using the same calipers, the kawa pads I recommended aren't exactly the same but work perfectly.

Refering to 2009 pads. Does anyone have a recent answer to this? or the exact Kawa pads to use? I've searched and searched but cant find anything.

What about brakes? I take it the brakes from the 600RR calipers will mount up fine to the rotors of the 675 wheel?

2009 front pads

HELLO,I HAVE ALSO SEARCHED FOR FRONT PADS FOR THE 09 MODEL,
CAN NOT FIND ANY ,OTHER THAN TRIUMPH GENUINE PADS,

When they say footpegs do the mean rearsets or just the footpeg part and the stock frame or can I order CBR rearsets and mount em to my bike?

So forks off an 08' CBR 600rr will fit on my 09' 675? I'm curious as I'm replacing mine.

Looks like I am going to have to buy a set and resolve this question of compatibility. I like that you can get the CBR forks in gloss black as well.

Just received a set of gloss black forks off an 08' CBR 600rr to try and replace my bent gold ones on my 09' 675. The forum says they are compatible but from looking at them now the CBR forks seem like they will put my calipers in a place that is not so ideal. But will let ya know soon.

also the mounting points on the cbr forks for the front fender is completely different..

the diameter of the cbr forks measures too wide for the lower triple clamp and I don't want to try and force anything and/or scratch them.

again, who has actually done this swap? as I am quickly rethinking this idea.

CBR 600rr forks-- relisted them for sale and found a set of Triumph forks. I sleep better at night now.

Are you referring to the top triple when you say Head Stock?

I don't know if they were using the vernacular correctly but head stock in the terms of a trained mechanic means the entire triple tree upper lower and the steering stem.

Not necessarily as the stem diameter where it goes through the top triple tree bracket might be a different diameter.

as someone mentioned before exhaust systems are beat to death but im new to the forum so i figured i would ask anyway. i currently own a 2010 se and am searching for full exhaust systems. i found leo vince but it is for 2008 models. does anyone know if it is still compatible?

It is not compatible. They changed the header shape for 2009. I was talking to Leo Vince today, and they have not made a full system for the 09+ and currently have no intention to in the near future......

I currently have an inquiry into Devil who may have a full system for the 09+ D657, but that will surly cost about 2000USD, the only other option I know of is the Arrow exhaust which will cost you even more than that........

It is an unfortunate situation, if I had have known ahead of time, I probably would have bought a left over 08 instead of the 09...... oh well...
