Anyone have a 675 parts compatibility list they can share? I know things like a GSX-R brake lever and front sprocket fit. Trying to compile a complete list of parts from other Triumph or non-Triumph bikes that fit.

TIA.

UPDATE 7/18/09. Thanks to all who provided inputs and keep 'em coming including any updates/corrections to the existing list.

**DISCLAIMER: Nothing's perfect, use these suggestions at your own risk.

1. Oil Filter: BMW, 2007 CBR600RR, CBR1000RR
Comments: Direct fit.
K&N part number KN-204 fits almost every bike you can imagine including ours!

2. Fuel Pump: Yamaha R1 (2004+), Triumph Sprint 1050.
Comments: R1 fuel warning indicator is in a different place but it's fine for a track bike. Sprint 1050 pump connections identical to D675, but slightly different internal to the tank - fixing plate needs another notch filing in it to orientate the pump in the tank correctly and fuel sensor does not work.

3. Brake Lever: Suzuki GSX-R (2003+ GSX-R750, 2004+ GSX-R600, 2005+ GSX-R1000, 2008 GSX1300BK B-King)
Comments: Direct fit.

4. Front Sprocket: Suzuki GSX-R 600 (01-07), Suzuki GSX-R 1000 (01-07), Suzuki GSXR 750 (00-07), Yamaha R6 (99-01), Yamaha R5/RD 350, ZX-10
Comments: Direct fit.

5. Throttle Tube: Yamaha R1, Triumph Speed Triple, Triumph Sprint 1050
Comments: Direct fit.

6. Fuel Tank: Triumph Speed Triple
Comments: Direct fit.

7. Front Brake Pads: Yamaha R6 (2006+), Triumph Speed Triple (07-08), ZX-9R F1-2
Comments: Direct fit. ZX-9R F1-2 kawi part number 43082-1290 (has 3 grooves instead of 5).

8. Rear Brake Caliper: Yamaha R1, 03-05 Yamaha R6, 06-up Yamaha R6S
Comments: Direct fit.

9. Mirrors: Ducati, Suzuki GSX-R, Triumph 955
Comments: Some mods needed. See threads below.

10. Clutch Perch & Lever: Yamaha R6 (2001)
Comments: Possibly other model years fit as well. Fine on race bike, may or may not be issue for street.

11. Steering Head Bearings: Yamaha R6 (99-01)
Comments: Probably compatible with other bikes as well.

12. Forks: Honda CBR 600RR (08), Kawasaki ZX6RR (03)
Comments: Honda 600RR is direct fit (may have to use RR axle). On Kawi forks, need to swap out the caliper blocks at the bottom of the forks. Caliper block is different to accommodate smaller axle - but fork tubes, caps and internals are the same.

13. Head Stock: Suzuki GSX-R1000 (05-06)
Comments: Direct fit.

14. Headers: Triumph Speed Triple
Comments: Direct fit.

15. Rear Swingarm Bobbins: Yamaha R6
Comments: Direct fit. 6mm bolts.

16. Footpegs: Honda CBR1000RR (04-08), Yamaha R1 (03)
Comments: Direct fit. Other model year Yamaha R1 may fit as well.

17. Front Brake Calipers: Triumph Speed Triple (07-08), Suzuki GSX-R1000, 750, and 600, 06 R6
Comments: Speed triple is direct fit. Suzuki calipers line up fine, but need to drill bolt holes out a little and add spacers to distance radially.

18. Wheels: Yamaha R6 (03-07)
Comments: Mods required.
Trackday wheel options - Triumph675.Net Forums

19. Front Brake Master Cylinder Reservoir Assembly: Yamaha R1
Comments: A near perfect fit. R1 assembly is probably less expensive as well.

20. Clutch Lever: Triumph Speed Triple (04-07), Speed Four (05-06), Daytona 600/650 (04-05), 955i (04-06), Sprint ST/RS (04-07), Thruxton (04-07), Bonneville T100 (06-07), Tiger (07), Rocket III (04-07)
Comments: Direct fit. These are based on comparing Pazzo Lever part numbers, so there may be some variation for OEM or OEM direct replacements.

21. Rear Shock Mounts: Yamaha R6 (99-02)
Comments: Direct fit. Aluminum and about an 1/8 inch lower than OEM 675.

22. Fork Seals: 05 R6
Comments: Direct fit.

23. Wheel Bearings and Seals: Suzuki, Honda
Comments: Suzuki rear wheel bearings (2 Req, SUZ P/N 08133-62047), Suzuki front wheel bearings (2 Req, SUZ P/N 08133-60047), Suzuki rear left outer wheel bearing - sprocket carrier (1 Req, SUZ P/N 09262-25061), Rear left oil seal - sprocket side (1 Req, SUZ P/N 09283-35028), Front wheel oil seals (2 Req, HONDA P/N 90753-074-003), Rear right oil seal - brake side (1 Req, HONDA P/N 91252-KZ4-003).

24. Crankshaft Position Sensor: Aprilia 450 RXV
Comments: Model year has not been determined as of yet.

Hello does anyone know if any front pads are compatable for the 09 model,if not who is making them other than genuine triumph, can only seem to find ebc...
You might try using the ebc number to give you other bike manufacturers using the same calipers, the kawa pads I recommended aren't exactly the same but work perfectly.

I see that the 09 675 has modified the CCT.
Does any one know if it will fit and be a fix for the 07,
or should I just get a manual one and try to remember to adjust it.
I am pretty sure the new 09 is a different type of cct (hydrolic or something) I am sure someone else will chime in but I think you are better off getting the manual one.

passing the info along---

all balls racing sells wheel bearing/seal kits and steering bearings.
https://www.goallballs.com

$17 for the front, $23 for the rear and $34 for the steering

MUCH MUCH cheaper than oem. All balls also has a list of suzuki & yamaha bearings/seal kits that match the 675 kits.

Might even be a tad cheaper if you order from your local tucker rocky or Parts Unlimited dealer.

Does anyone know if the Rear Hugger from a Street Triple will fit a D675 ?

i ask casue they are alot larger than the D675 however i have seen one thread someone was rocking one

THIS MICROFICHE website says the swingarms are exactly the same. I'll leave it to you to check any other bits. I'm 99.9% sure there aren't any issues.

I think I am going to buy one to use until the supernova is released. I am hoping it will fit, if not I am only out 55 bucks for an integrated LED tail light that i can prolly resell. I am still trying to verify the distance between the tabs(circled in picture) to see if they will fit the 675. Here are the specs for the 03-06 Honda CBR600RR / 04-07 CBR1000RR:
6 7/8" x 2 1/4" x 4" (Width x Height x Depth) measured at normal mounting position including housing.
Distance between rear mounting screws: 5"

Will need an angle bracket from Home Depot to mount. I am planning on just buying a peice of good angled metal and cutting and drilling holes. Figure mounting will cost about $3.

If it doesnt work, I am out little to nothing! I will take pictures for sure when I am done.

ryco oil filter is good for stopping cats and dogs , my motor is worth more to me than saving $10.

i have seen non-genuine or filters on cars come apart and leak and a lot of the aftermarket manufacturers use 1 or 2 grades of filtration paper across their range of filters. the genuine article is engineered for their own engine.plus the genuine is warranted for a greater period. try a claim on a ryco when its application list doesnt show a triumph bike , they will wash their hands of it .

"you fitted a nissan filter to a WHAT , serves yourself right " says ryco

Who said anything about "Ryco" I have actualy been using "Nippon" Z445 s for the last 4 years and 60,000 km in Triumphs without a problem. Guess who makes the "Triumph" branded filter?

ok my bad , but a filter starting with "z" pointed me in that direction.

and filtech inc USA manufacture the oil filter for triumph. as well as honda and subaru.
(Filtech Inc. was established in 1989 by Toyo Roki Manufacturing Co. LTD. Filtech specializes in serving the automotive industry with state-of-the-art filtration component parts and systems, such as, air cleaners, oil filters, automatic transmission filter strainers, and charcoal canisters. )

so the genuine article would still be a far cry from what you would chuck on ya 30 year old dirty falcon .. lol

I dont know if any one has noticed but the new genuine Triumph filter no longer can be removed by the Triumph filter tool as it now has a smaller diameter. A ploy to get us to spend more money and buy the new tool I guess.

I'd love to hear about which clutch plate kits are interchangeable. Having a hard time tracking down a vendow that sells a Barnett kit. The OEM parts are pretty pricey for new clutch plates/discs.

Hey before I start playing with new tail lights I have a quick question for everyone. Is the 09 or 10 taillight or tail plastic any different from Gen1 675? I am going to try to match up to an 07 CBR 1000 tail light, but if it doesnt fit, I want to buy a used tail light and rip it apart and try to shove the insides of the 1000 light into a 675 tail light case. I found a few for >$15. Figure that may work better than making a bracket.

Thanks for the help.

hi all

can some one please just confirm that cbr 600 rr internals are the same...
As long as the forks are KYB's and are the same outside physical dimensions most of the KYB's are very similar inside. My Ohlins 25mm inserts are from a '03-'04 Kawi 636 with KYB forks. Only the compression adjuster was slightly different, but Thermosman made the change when he installed / revalved the inserts. They're niiiiiice.
