I installed the rest of my frame sliders from motovation. Got the front, rear and engine ones done... and did the rim tape yesterday

Happy bday! Mine was yesterday, but I didn't have a chance to take out the striple due to work and birthday dinner/drinks. Hoping to take a spin this weekend.Today is my birthday so took the bike sound town and a few places here and there. Got a nice big grin on my face.

Just adjusted Apex Clip-ons on my Streeple. They are now rised as high as they go (3"), and the bar angles are adjusted so that I can handle the bike in parking spot or jammed traffic without my hands hetting the tank. With this setup, I have pretty much same handling angle as the stock bars while the riding position is still a lot sportier than stock. Ride about 24 miles on freeway with this set up it was was super nice. I think the adjustment today made the busy city ride a little easier.

I moved my right side mirror over about 1/2 inch. Found I was having trouble seeing behind me on the right side so I just moved the assembly over next to the starter switch housing. It's better but not perfect.
I haven't put many miles on her since registering her in November so I'm still getting used to her mannerisms.
I think I'm getting better mileage with slightly higher revs instead of upshifting at 4krpm.
90mph sorta sneaks up on you with this bike.
My chiropractor is telling me that my riding position is not optimal and contributing to the neck pains I'm having. My short arms force me into a bit more lean than most others riding this bike... so I'm going to have to think about options.

Jealous. I was at home working all day.Just went out for an hour. Holy crap I missed riding. Did about 32 miles its 53 out, if I didnt have to do crap today I would be out all day

Du Pont Chain Saver....
Best chain lubricating product I have used to date. The stuff dries to a candle wax like state after a few minutes. Does not fling off, even after the chain heats up. Attracts little to no dirt, the stuff wipes right off.
Really works best when applied promptly after a ride, to a warm chain. You can see it form a protective coating over the O rings, look like mini glazed donuts.
Du Pont Chain Degreaser....
Pretty good stuff as well. Does a great job at breaking up oils and grime. After removing the front sprocket cover, there was a huge "tar ball" of crap in there. Real hard to wipe away. Sprayed it down heavily with the degreaser, the stuff fell apart. O ring safe too.
Combined with a Grunge Brush, it makes the cleaning of even the most soiled chains a breeze.
Tech Spec Tank Pads (snakeskin)....
If only I had known what a difference these made, I would have bought them on day 1! Totally transformed the way the bike "responds" to my input. Can really flick the bike with ease now. Only have to apply 1/3 the pressure that I had to before, to keep myself from sliding forward under breaking. No more mashed nuts!

Last pic in B&W outside of NYC Ducati-Triumph is great!
I got a good friend that works there. Alex Lange. He did all the work on my 11 Speed Triple when he used to work at a dealership in New Hampshire. He's the Ducati Tech along with Corey Meister. I should be seeing them at the big show at the Javits Center on the 21st.
Anyway, the bike looks great!!!

Put on the glossy Triumph paint protection kit. It went on much easier than I expected, no wrinkles or bubbles at all. It looks great because unless the light hits the edges just right, you can't see it.
On a small side note: I rode over to a friend's house so he could help me install the protection kit, and discovered that his neighbor has a beautiful Norton Commando 750! His neighbor is a really neat older guy with 40+ yrs of riding behind him, made for a good afternoon conversation.

Definitely more than I should've spent but I just had to, especially the grips and cup edition sliders. Oh cool yea, Alex was there that day. He was the only tech on hand too and they were busy as hell. Sounds like he gets around
