Did this about a week ago but forgot to post. Daytona fork swap, brakes, M/C. Bar end Mirrors and add pazzo levers. Installed Ram mount for my Ezpass and the took it to my suspension guy to get it set up. I'm Loving the deeper gold forks. Rides so much better now.

Threw on a 1050 throttle tube

Took me and my pal Gerry about two hours and five minutes.

Two hours to remove the proverbial stripped screw holding the "clamshell" on, and about five minutes to install the throttle tube.
We took our time, because these stripped, but small screws, can often make a big problem out of a little one if handled clumsily, know what I mean:)?

We had just enough cable length, with the adjuster completely shortened, to provide a tiny bit of play with the throttle closed.

We replaced the offending clamshell screws with stainless allen heads.

It's raining today, so I decided not to test it, but it definitely "feels right" and I can't wait to try it out tomorrow.

As they say, "best ten dollar" mod. out there.

Took about ten days to get it from Bike Bandit, and they charged $7.50 for shipping.

Anyone know of a faster, better source for stock parts?

Just made room for her in the basement while I'm deployed... Sad day.
Thank you for your sacrifice even though I do not agree with our president in how he is turning this country into a shit pile, but God bless you and may you return safe.

I've been riding motorcycles for 10 years now and boy oh boy do I love this bike! I've ridden Harleys, superbikes, supermotards, touring bikes, etc. This one is the most "fun" to ride so far.

Congrats! Nice find.

Installed annitori quick shifter but am yet to test it out:verysad::verysad: pulled off the tank and air box, connected everything up, gave it a clean put back on the air box and tank, then after many attempts the bike finally fired up and ran rough with the check engine light alight, the idle sort of smoothed out but seem to idle higher then normal.

After a bit of searching on the forum realised I hadn't connected the vacuum line to the map sensor, so the test will have to wait till tomorrow.

Picked it up on Monday :rofl2:
Rotated the lever mounts forward on Tuesday so I could actually see something in the mirrors.
Today going to the post office to pick up a 7kg delivery from Jack Lilley. The other 6kg package should be here on Monday
