Thanks to triple nipple i was able to get a hold of sum Daytona pax foot rests. Now i can take my son out for rides on gènesis and he can rest his feet some place instead of just dangling.

Stopped by an old friend's house, grabbed a beer. Couldn't find a church key in the kitchen, so I used a window on the brake rotor to open the bottle.

Just got back from an 80 mile ride. Temp. was 58 degrees and some spotty rain. Still it was a blast on my 09 striple. Also noticed that the odo showed 19200.00 miles. Getting close to my 20k check. I know that the front brakes needs freshened up so I will do it myself. The air filter was changed not too long ago. The oil is fresh also.

Changed the back pads (more fiddly than the front), discovered a stand bobbin about to fall off, lubed the stand, chain and change linkage, washed it (adds 5hp) :grin:

Those look pretty cool. But I am worried that, while they may look bright, they may not throw out much light down the road. If the bike is coming at you could see it could see it coming for miles and it would LOOK very white and bright but from the riders perspective you may not even see a half a block. I really hope I am wrong...good luck!!

If the bike is coming at you could see it could see it coming for miles and it would LOOK very white and bright but from the riders perspective you may not even see a half a block. I really hope I am wrong...good luck!!

Same concern here. I have a set of LED bulbs in my car's fog lamp slot and, while they look awesome and appear super bright, the usable light they produce is dismal, at best.

Scuffed up the passenger foot rest and painted them satin black. Almost dun with it. After its got a 2nd coat, its the clear coat traction paint on the peg and i will get started on the other side.

Ok. It's been a while since I had my Arrow dual slip-ons on my '09 Triple. But holy *hit! It's loud without the baffles! So unbearably loud! Though, I invested in some good ear plugs it's loud, but not too loud. I opted to plug on side with the baffle and the other without. So it's a good mix of sounding awesome but not too deafening. Just an FYI with whomever wants to upgrade to the pipes. I still love them though.
