I installed the rest of my frame sliders from motovation. Got the front, rear and engine ones done... and did the rim tape yesterday
I just threw up in my mouthWhat is this word "clean" that you use? I am not familiar with it.
Come on.. she's pretty as she is! It's the inside that counts, remember?

That picture could represent a single day-trip outside of Melbourne, Australia. Unlike North America with it's paved primary, secondary and rural roads, Australia's roads can vary from pavement to non paved roads going to your destination and they would still be considered primary/ main roads. Dust kicked up by vehicles and add a little moisture to the picture and voila a very dirty bike in probably less that a day. As for the headers, Triumph leads the way in using the materials it does that lead to oxidization and rust.
Even though my bike is slightly more "polished" than yours, every Street Triple just screams out BADASS, and yours does too. What is this word "clean" that you use? I am not familiar with it.

Why the low muffler? Also are you using stock gearing? I don't plan to off road my StRiple but I've been intrigued by the Versys/Ninja dual sport conversions. What is this word "clean" that you use? I am not familiar with it.

Stock gearing at the moment. Why the low muffler? I don't know. I liked it.Why the low muffler? Also are you using stock gearing? I don't plan to off road my StRiple but I've been intrigued by the Versys/Ninja dual sport conversions.

It's better to see a bike being ridden AND enjoyed as opposed to just leaving it in a garage. It's a rat bike. Mechanically speaking, it gets pampered. Cosmetically not so much.
I love the look people give when they see it the first time. I can read their minds: "what a piece of shit!!".
Doesn't matter what bike you're on or what it looks like. You can't buy an adventurous spirit. I had to rat this bike up to enjoy it more. So I now piss myself laughing when stupid shit like this happens:
The striple is very capable offroad. Just needs more clearance and knobbies for the mud.
Roosting your mates, fishtailing up dirt roads, getting stuck in mud, ass puckering when you see a rock that could pierce your sump- all of that adds to the fun.
I had heard that some of them sleep lying down. It's better to see a bike being ridden AND enjoyed as opposed to just leaving it in a garage.
My bike NEARLY got new bar end mirrors but I must have grabbed the wrong ones from Triumph because the screw they come with is too small to thread into the handle bars. They will be returned tomorrow.
mud, it happens. :biggrinjester: and that's with paper plates and 1000mi on it....I have no problem with dirty adv bikes, that's how they should be. That said I'm not trying to have my street bike looking like that. Just my opinion.
