I installed the rest of my frame sliders from motovation. Got the front, rear and engine ones done... and did the rim tape yesterday :)

Thanks! Yours too. That must be a Sargent seat, it looks like? DO WANT. And it looks like you have aftermarket headlights; what did you go with? Major improvement? With the change in weather comes freaking dark at 5PM, so I'm noticing much more how shitty the Streety's stock lights are. Wondering what to do about them.

Excellent, thanks for the link. If you don't mind a couple quick questions: easy to install? And you still have high and low beams?

You are quite right about the angling. I actually just did that two nights ago, and it's a world of difference. Not enough, though. Too many freaking deer in DC, and I want to see them way before I get there!

They're extremely easy to install. All you need is a screwdriver.

Unplug the battery. Loosen the screw at the bottom of the headlight bowl, take the casing ring off. Then the glass lens comes off. Unplug the OEM bulb, plug in the new one. Button it up and you're halfway there.

Yes the hi/low beams are retained.

I think the new bulbs made a pretty nice difference...but, the whole lighting system on our bike still sucks.

Just updated the tune on my bike with 20573 using TuneECU. It's essentially the latest TORS fuel map for Street Triples with aftermarket slip-ons. Going for a test-ride now to see if there is any noticeable difference from the previous map I had loaded, 20394.

UPDATE: The 20573 map update is recommended! Every new fuel map update continues to smooth out power delivery, from the first crack of the throttle til you wrap it all the way round! I say go for it!

Moved mine to a different part of the garage to keep the battery tender hooked up while it's butt freezing cold and also to allow me to get 3 cars inside while my son is home for Christmas break from college.

HOT! And I'm glad you didn't have to ditch the Triumph mirrors. They are BAD ASS. Easily the best money I spent on my bike. $130 or whatever, and they totally change the look. CRGs are cool, but I haven't seen a single mirror that looks as nice as those Triumph bar ends.

And now that I know you can do it, I might end up with a Rizoma bar as well. I like the black look, and Rizoma's are top-notch; but I wasn't willing to go with a bar that didn't take my mirrors!
