Aired up the tires on the Striple and took her for a nice 35 mile ride in the country. 45 degrees today but the temps are suppose to drop like a rock again. I got to wear my new Triumph Samford jacket for the first time too. The grave yard scenes look so surreal. Almost spooky to me.

 

No modifications today, but did take it for a small ride to try and up the break in miles. Currently at 145, lol. Slowly but surely!

 

Installed a cheap Renthal Low bar in Gothic Black, and destroyed a throttle grip, so I put the old ones back on.

Installed the Arrow exhaust on my bike. Still needs the ECU remapped, but I need to take it in to the dealer for that.

It's been such a nice day I got to wash the car and ride all three of my bikes. The Bonny first and then after the car wash I felt sorry for the Street Glide so I took it out. When I got home I said what the hell I'll take the Striple out. Glad I did I got to show a smart ass Mustang GT that he wasn't all that after all.

I installed my GB Racing engine covers on her the other day. No pics because they're just engine covers

 

Just installed the Rizoma MA005 Black bar with the Rizoma AZ402 Black Risers for a bit more of an Aggressive look

Then took her for a quick run to see how the bar felt, very happy how it feels.
Then took a couple of pics before I locked her up

Dino, how come your flyscreen looks so much cooler than my old one did. My old one looked like a hat perched above the headlights and yours looks much more aggressive and doesn't protrude over the front of the headlights as much. Different flyscreen? Did you do some sort of placement modification? I think I wouldn't mind having that screen on my bike rather than the one I sold a little while ago.

 

Hey Scotty my flyscreen is from the older gen SPEED triple, if you have a browse through my other posts you can see it in there, straight bolt on if you get the matching 3 hole mounting plate with the older Speed screen

I picked up Guzzi V11 a couple years ago so I've been dividing my time between the two. I took a big 12k trip on the Guzzi in '12.
We'll see if I can make it to 100k on the ST3 by the end of the year :hmm:

Wait, holy crap...I just realized. 69 THOUSAND miles?! Impressive. Yeah I know there are other bikes out there with more, just didn't know of any Striples with that kind of mileage.

 

I'll say one thing about all stock bikes. They break down a lot less.
