Spotted, today: Our very own Johnno, out the front of a dealership on the north shore

I had a cracking ride home! We should have thought about it and had you been heading towards the city, had ourselves a wee blat along the Gore Hill & Cahill expressways!

Hope you had a blast at Eastern Creek :)

I thought it might be yours since it was not far from Central. There were so many bikes and scooters parked in the area.

I had a meeting nearby.

From what I remember, the bike had a fender eliminator, sticker and a weird rear tyre pattern (not the stock Pirelli).
That's where I usually park - I work just around the corner.

the stickers on the front forks say 'Race Tech' - apparently they give me cred when at the track? the guys that lowered and did the suspension put them on.

yes, you're quite right about the rear tyre. I had a regular pirelli diabolo put on a few days before you saw my bike (hence the gigantic chicken strips). My super corsa had a magnet in it, I'm utterly convinced - got so many punctures it was getting ridiculous! Needed a slightly firmer tyre given that so much of my riding is commuting, and with all the wet weather having tread all the way up the sides is a nice bonus.

Really need the weather to clear up so I can scrub in that new tyre good and proper. Haven't even put 50kms on it yet. Such is life when one lives less than 12kms from work!

Hi Flash,

Sorry it's taken a while to reply to this but I have been on a couple of weeks holiday.

I had a great day at Eastern Creek, the rear tyre is absolutly stuffed..... so it must have been good.  Going to book again for 29th July..

Spotted a graphite bike EXACTLY the same as mine tonight. Only because it was my bike! Just having a *sigh* at hardly seeing any 675s out on the road. I have seen like 2 or 3 graphites, 1 red and no scorched yellow ones. I don't wanna see a 675 as "every second bike" I see but I'd like to see one every 1-3, that'd be cool  Oh well, it's almost as fun with looking in big shop mirrors/fronts that reflect the image of me riding my one :)

I actually had a good chat (30ish seconds) to a guy on a red one at traffic lights near my place 2 or 3 days ago :D I think it was the same guy who I saw AGES ago and didn't give me a glance when I pulled up next to him at some lights (strangely enough, 1 set away from the ones we were at the other day)

His was stock as stock could be. He made a nice comment on the jardine when he pulled up to the next set of lights. heh. One thing, he either takes off REAL SLOW or (and? hehe) he might think I am "a wanker" showing off as my take offs were hell of a lot more than his. Man... you have a bike, esp a beauty like the 675 and you take off relatively same pace as the cars around you? CRAZY if you ask me (for safety sake as well as fun sake)

How is the Husky 450? Good fun? Maintenance requirements? :D
To say it's a handful would be an understatement, but it is fun. I don't think that I'll ever get one again though as which rocket scientist decided to put the starter on the friggin left hand side?

I don't ride it much as it's on my parent's farm in the Southern Highlands, so maintenance is not really an issue. Just a quick wipe down after each ride…

I would definitely consider a supermoto as my next bike. People say they are uncomfortable, etc but around town it would be a blast. I rode a KTM 625 SM before getting my Triumph and thought it was too unrefined, lol. The Husky and Aprilia models are sweet - race bikes with indicators.

My dream garage would contain an Aprilia RS250 (2-stroke), 675 and an Aprilia SXV 550.

Belated post due to me simply forgetting to post this while I have been on the PC.

I spotted a graphite 675 which looked very similar to mine on Wednesday morning whilst I was doing my good deed for the day. I spotted it parked on Carlisle street somewhere amongst the shopping strip not too far from Hoddle street (going AWAY from the beach end). Didn't get a GOOD look due to concentrating on not getting the bike's wheel getting stuck in the tram track due to it being a thin enough to fit in (I think hehe) them, a good ol' CB250RS.
