So I just installed my new exhaust, an SC Project Conic slip on. I must say the sound is glorious! I was sold on it when I searched online videos for examples, the only thing I could do. Install was a breeze, no issues with missing parts from shipping. Though the shipping took a bit, got it from Motovation. However, when it arrived it there was nothing wrong with it, everything included and in perfect condition.
After a period of break in I realized how great it sounds, deep and throaty down low and gurgling, and great sounding up top.
It's kind of loud even with the baffle in, which I'm probably going to keep in. But I might remove it just to hear what that sounds like.
Overall, IMHO 10/10. Beautiful looks and that sound is intoxicating!
I'll post pics when I get a chance. I highly recommend it

Hi, I'm also looking at getting an SC Project pipe. The one I'm looking at says it gets rid of the mid cat so a tune is required. I'm new to this whole street bike thing but loving it (coming from enduros). So my question is, is a tune the same as say getting an Arrow map or it is saying you need to run it on a dyno for a custom tune?

Most slip-ons by them self you can usually get away without getting a tune due to the Fi system. But with getting rid of the cat will open the airflow enough that you should get it tuned. Installing a generic map should get you by also but will get better performance with a custom tune.

I recently took the baffle out of the slip on SC Project exhaust. It is a very noticeable difference in loudness. It was to the point that after I returned from my ride without the baffle, I put it back in. I wear a full face helmet which gives good noise protection and I couldn't bare the volume without the baffle. I think it's quote on quote 'perfect' with the baffle, I love the sound this exhaust has.

As for a 'tune' yes like another poster said it refers to a remap of the computer for the new exhaust. I opted not to get one for now since the bike is running fine. However, remaps, I believe, are for when your bike is either running lean or rich. If you do get a remap, I prefer the Arrow remap, it pretty much is the one to go with when changing out an exhaust. Hope that helps, good luck with whatever exhaust you go with.
