are you planning on running the stock slipper clutch? have you found a way of adjusting the level or slip at all with the standard 2013 clutch? Having ridden the new 2013 bike on track, i much prefer the feel of the 2012 standard non slip clutch so im hoping to find a way of tightening up the clutch how to reduce the intervention and level of slip

The motors came apart today and we are looking at slipper clutch options. Joey rode a stock bike at a test before Daytona and said the clutch worked pretty well. As we get closer to assembly I will let you know what we come up with.

will you be selling the attack triples from your 2012 675R's?

The oem offset on the 2013 is much better than the previous bike. That said we like the adjustability of the Attack clamps and that is why we will be using them on these builds.
Hey TJ... Another silly question about the attack triples. How much adjustment do you think it will be done during the season? Is it a set it and forget it kinda deal or are you moving the triples depending on the track? How do you measure the angle? Does it have preset positions?

Thanks for the info!!

The Attack triples do not change angle, but instead they allow for "offset" adjustement.

Here is a really good link on front end suspension tuning that talks about the role that "offset" plays in front end feel.

We have bounced through a couple of different offsets over the last year. Some is rider feel and some is dependent on the track itself.

If you could, please post what Triumph is selling a set of 2013 wheels. Would be nice if they offered a reasonably priced set like the did in the race catalog.

Not the cheapest but who knows how much they will show up on bike bandit.. cheaper than CZ wheels & based off the weight info and matched to my CZ wheels noticably lighter.

Sweet build! Random question, with the redesigned frame and rear swingarm, what are the chances that that rear swingarm would bolt up to a 2012 frame (without issues)? lol A little Dr. Frankenstein, but worth asking if it's lighter/stronger and I was willing to go with a low mount exhaust anyways...

Yea, but the wheels in the race kit where only $900/pair with rotor bolts.

I think they purposely sold them cheaper to racers considering the need (imagine that!)

Triumph will offer wheels through the race kit on the 2013 as well. I believe MSRP is $916.99.

For those of you looking to swap to the 2013 wheels you will need 2013 front rotors as well.
Guess that means we would have to shoot you a call for some new galfer/braking rotors?
Either way, at that price with rotors still cheaper and lighter than anything else you can find for under $1800
