Not sure what's worse, tall guys commenting about their superior height in a thread about short guys or southerners bragging about their great weather and year round riding in the threads about winter in the north.
I'm gonna say guys bragging about great weather year round

Tall riders 6, who ride the Daytona 675, imo looks funny, the bike is not that big at all and looks kinda small and thin in the mid section since its a triple and not a 4, a person 5,5 - 5,9 would fit this bike ok. But if you really like this bike than it does not matter, go for what you like, and not what people think.

I test rode a 2013 Daytona (standard) on Sunday and it felt less aggressive and lower than my 09' Daytona. Very comfortable and easy to ride. It was great!

As others have said though, get to your local dealer and test ride.

The 2013 Daytona 675 seat height are much lower than the previous models, 2013 models D675 are 820mm, compared to the previous models 830mm.

I saw the new 2013 Daytona 675 a few weeks ago in the flesh, even tho I saw a lot of pictures of it, when i finally saw it in person, I was not excited at all.. kind of a let down, doesn't look aggressive at all, and the beauty has gone, doesn't look unique anymore, the older models do, glade I brought the last generation daytonas until the new ones came out.

trudat

tall people on the 675 does look weird. i laugh a lot everytime i see the video reviews and the riders are 6+ feet. their tuck stance has their knee pushing their elbows so much.

new to this site and to triumphs. and to super sports.

falling in love with a 2008 standard daytona 675. i'm 5'7" female with 29-30" inseam. i can touch on both sides on the balls of my feet. if i had an extra inch on my heel i'd be flat footing. been told that its better to cut the seat down or use lifts rather than alter the bike. didn't seem like there was anything to cut off the seat.. anyone tried a heel lift in their boots? my boots have plenty of room inside

sazbatz...you can shave the seat. Might be all you need. I have an 08 and I'm a 5'4" gal with similar inseam and it is fine. My bike is all track and I did it to feel more like I am sitting in the cockpit rather than on top. The reach to the ground is an added bonus and you don't have to mess with the geometry or suspension linkage

Here's what it looks like:
