Probably because they are using the name only. Could be a POS part. I have seen it before years ago on my Acura TSX...parts on ebay listed as coming from a company, and they were not. Try contacting Competition Werkes and sending them the link. They will let you know if it is legit or not. It COULD be, or it may not be and still be a decent part. Just remember that if it's not...then the people selling it are unscrupulous. Should be a red light for you.

 

Well, the company is out of Cali (CW is located in Oregon) so they cant assume a product under another companies name. However, Im not sure if they are receiving these parts from overseas and selling them locally.

But with all that said here is my take...WTF!!! I just spent the last two days flush mounting leds into my brand new Daytona fairings and they come out with integrated tail light/turn signals. Are you f***ing kidding me!?! If I go this rounte I have two holes in my fairings lol.

 

Why not forward the add to Competition Works, and see what they can tell you.

 

Ill call them tomorrow and mention the add to them and see what they say. I gotta talk to them about redoing my CW can cause the bolts are stripped out to put the silencer in.

 

I emailed comp werkes asking if they make an integrated tail light, they said they are not on the site yet and to call in for an order

 

So that tells me those lights on ebay are legit. Then is the ebay vendor doing pre-orders?

 

That I do not know. I'm waiting to find out price and what not, I'm hearing something about there being different colors to choose from.

 

Order from comp werkes. The most expensive one is like 120.00 from them. I have pics of all 4 options. I'll post those too

Why would you buy a red one? The stock one is red.. some people have too much time and money

 

i just want the integrated turn signal.......... if my taillight is clear, i could get a 48hour from the cop to change back my light and get a fine or get an inspection $$$........

Ahh I didnt realize it was an integrated signal. I was even considering getting the smoked stealth but I actually want people to be able to see me signaling

I was reading in another thread that someone called up competition werkes and they said that their website was very out of date and that they do have the integrated tail light in 5 or so colors. Anyone looking to order one should just call them up and see what the deal is.
