my 2008 streety has a terrible turning circle. i read somewhere that this is somewhat improved in later models.

is there a mod of some sort that i can do to improve the turning circle?

Compared to what bike does it have a terrible turning circle?

The turning circle of my '12 Street Triple is better than my ZX-6R, for example, but I imagine that it's pretty crap compared to something like a DRZ 400.

One way of reducing the turning circle is to lean it over further. Go to a carpark and practice circles and figure eights, using the throttle and rear brake. The more you practice, the better you will get, and you will find that the Street Triple can be turned around pretty tightly with a bit of lean angle.

i'm talking about when i'm walking/reversing the bike to get it out of a tight spot. don't want to do 5 or 6 point turns when 3 should do it.

it clearly has a terrible turning circle compared to most bikes. the handlebars don't move that far at full lock though your 2012 model may be the improved version.

The handle bars could spin 360, your steering stops are what's not letting you do what you want.

go break off the steering stops and see how well that works out lol ....
