Does any one has an idea to build fuel gauge on an old STR such as 2010 model? Does it possible or cost too much?

It may be difficult to do with the tank shape. It's much easier to just reset your trip distance on the gauge cluster every time you fill up with gas :)

Also, you should have a low fuel warning light to alert you that the tank is getting low.

Ditto on the trip odometer. And don't trust the claimed tank capacity. Mine is supposed to hold 4.5 gallons. It holds 4.17.

I'm for the trip meter as well.

Only trouble I see is the great variance in consumption between open and city riding. From 5.2lt/100Km for cruising it rises to 6-6.5 for "spirited" riding in twisty roads and reaches figures like 8 or 8.5lt/km for the city. So if consumption is mixed one needs to remember what kind of riding he has been doing and for how long/far.

Supposedly 13+ models have somehow addressed high city consumption but I'm suspicious my magazine source greatly exaggerated by claiming figures like 6lt/100Km.
