i was in this boat about year ago. minor scratch on my stator case, was careful to get the right part # but ended up with a newer style case anyway. they wouldnt take it back and i still havent bothered to fit it.

the covers changed in 2012 i believe for the 675R (and some 2011 675R's?), to have triumph logo and various indentations rather than the original shaved conical shape. the newer indented logo style cases extended onto the 2013 and onwards models. largely depends on your region and timing as to what you ended up with, triumph trickling down all the old parts prior to the 2013 models. i had a 2012My13 675 with the older style casings for example.

i believe the original style ones are pretty rare these days, at least thats what ive been told from a few part suppliers?

as far as i know they are interchangeable, but could be wrong. the main concern is that they'd require different crash protection covers if you've already got them.

 

That's exactly what I'm seeing. I believe it is part number T1260460 but when I google it, I see the part with different indentations on the face and the triumph logo. The stator cover on my current D675 is just flat black and has no indents on the face and no triumph logo

So it probably is the correct part number.

 

What are the last 6 of your vin? I can look it up.

They are interchangeable. Only issue is if you have GB protection covers.
