That's what I thought, I love Mustang's, always have. Truth be told, I would rather have one with the new 5.0 V8, but the V6 is actually tempting now. 31mpg and 300+hp and cheaper insurance. Sounds good to me. :thumbup:

Doesn't sound much different than a BMW I6 with exhaust. I like it. I would've thought the Flowmaster system would sound better, but, doesn't, IMHO.

personally, i would take a fox body mustang over the new stuff. id like to pick one up as a project.

I thought we were keeping this BMW, since I posted the Mustang sounded like a BMW I6 and you raised me with an M5. I raised you with the ultimate BMW.

BTW, I've been attending drag races for 40yrs.

1) The sound of the Mustang has nothing special to it for me.

2) The Mustang is overestimated, overpowered, overweight: a perfect symbol for the USA :laugh:

That's the valves grinding against the pistons. :laugh: Fact of the matter it doesn't matter really. To each his own, you can go on loving your mini and I'll stick with my American muscle cars. Doesn't mean either one of us has shoddy taste, just means we have different taste.

Thing is, I hate the new Minis almost as much as I hate the new Beetle or the new Mustang (but not the new GT 40 which is a lot more faithful to the original), while I quite like the originals.

And yeah, my car sounds like it's about to self-destruct anytime, that's what makes it fun :coolgleamA: I hope I can get a CR 500 soon, hmm, always been a fan, that'd be my ultimate car.
