Ok so I’m trying to pinpoint the cause of the error code and came across some Exposed wiring. However from what I can see, it looks like all the individual wire insulation isn’t broken or exposed. Just that the black tape that’s bundling the wires together is ripped a bit under the tank. Any ideas on if this is an issue or not? Trying to see if I need to dig any further.

This is a 2013 Triumph Daytona 675.
And the picture attached is the main harness cable directly underneath the tank. Only a few inches from the ECU.

Thank you. I actually found those posts from doing searches earlier on. But oddly enough I lost them and thanks to you, found them again.
Unfortunately though, it seems that the suggestions in those threads weren't any help. Although I found a bit of wiring that had the black tape frayed from rubbing against the frame, none of the individual wiring insulation were damaged. I taped it up anyway and verified that it was not the problem. Bummed out about that.

I'm on a waiting list to get my bike serviced. I currently live in S. Korea and the only triumph service tech is all full at the moment with a 1.5 month waiting list. 've nearly torn the bike down as far as I'm comfortable, multiple times trying to figure this issue out.

If anyone is interested, here is what I troubleshot.
1. Removed all the gas In the tank and replaced with good gas.
2. replaces spark plugs
3. Replaced ingition plugs (can't think of the name right now, but the things the spark plugs plug in to)
4. replaced the stator
5. ran the bike without the rectifier
6. unplugged all the after market stuff I installed
6a. Tail light.
6b. Hid headlights
6c. Angel eyes
6d. After market side markers
6e. Radar detector.
6f. The SAE connectors
7. Replaced the battery
8. Remove all the fuses one by one, leaving leaving only the ignition and starter fuses
9. Checked the wiring that leads up to the ecu.
10. Re-Installed the stock exhaust

And here is a list of things that I did to the bike right before this issue happened.
1. replaced the sprockets and chain
2. Replaced the gear shift rod that sits inside the engine case
3. Engine oil and filter
4. Brake pads (front only)
5. Pulled a dank ass Whoolie (thinking back now, this issue happened immediately after lowering the front wheel down)

And a bit earlier on( months before)
1. I installed a an Austin racing gp2r exhaust
2. Had the ecu remapped for the arrow race exhaust that removes the butterfly valve sensor check.

If anyone has any other suggestions to look into please feel free to chime in. =]. Thanks for all your help in advance.
