Soooo.... I had the fairings off and I found this connector that not being use. What's it for?

please refer to the pics. :thumbup:

Quick shift maybe? IDK..i saw that a few days ago when took my rearsets and kickstand off.

That is the sensor connection to the charcoal evap canister, if your bike ever had one.

I removed my canister, and traced that sensor wire up the engine, past the R/R, under the tank, where it was connected to the wire harness. I felt it was safe to just clip it off and ditch it, considering many bikes didn't even come with an evap canister.

Hooks up to the HyperDrive. If you leave it disconnected it will not do any harm.. but you lose the HyperDrive feature. :grin:



Looks like a CA evap to me.

It's the iPod connector. Allows you to change songs using the turn signals while holding down the flash to pass trigger.

It's not the most elegant solution. Plus, you have to spring for the mystery connector to iPod adapter. :laugh:
But is always good to know it's there!!! You never know when you might need it!!! lol :laugh::laugh::laugh:
