I'm BACK! Speedy 2019 RS Crystal White!

Met up with Undermoose to hit the dyno. Wish there weren't trucks in the background. Maybe an official photoshoot will happen next time. For now, enjoy.

Talus, BMW has been traded in. R1200GS was a great motorcycle, but I'm back to Triumph :)

It's a Speedy RS :)

Very nice! You going to bring the 765 to Dyno Solutions and have John do a few runs?
It's a Speedy RS :) Just saying hi to the lightweights lol. I do a lot of miles at times and like being able to cruise at 70mph @ 4k rpm.

That 765 almost had me back in the saddle of a streety though, and the upcoming Daytona 765 looks great from what I've seen (if that's true?).

It's not broken in yet, but I'll get to the dyno >:)

I have to say it's a thrill to be back on a Triumph, just not quite as comfortable as the R1200GS lol. I did a little touring, some off road, but kept eyeballing the Speed Triple and the Monster. I worked a deal in 2016 for a Ducati Monster but the sales guy was late and changed my mind by the time he got there lol.

I'm a Triumph guy once again as it turns out.

Hey Undermoose!

Great looking bike! I swapped up to a Speed Triple after the 675. Nearly killed myself a number of times before I realized it's better to leave liter bikes to the pros. I don't have the self control!

Enjoy the Speedy. Fantastic machine!

Words of wisdom, with great power comes great responsibility.

What year Speedy did you have?

Yeah, trust me, going for the Speedy wasn't without some reflection. After putting 16k miles on my Street Triple I couldn't wait to stop the chain saw sometimes, so one reason for the Speedy is cruise control at highway speeds with low rpm, not because I want to go faster (the speed triple was too fast!). Anyway, I have a natural speed limiter, and if I wanted speed I'd get a bike with a fairing. I don't think I'll be taking it off Road rider mode much, and I do wish it had anti-wheelie tech given it has an imu.

The 2012 R1200GS I had actually has more torque e than this Speedy, 89 vs 86 ft-lbs. Different beasts though, no real comparison.

Cleary I have this all thought through... :surprise:
