I'm under the impression that 09-11 STR forks are the same. I picked up a cart kit from an '11 and I'm planning to put it in my '09. I thought '12 was when they changed the forks. Any of you wizards confirm this for me? I have searched for a little while but either I'm asking the wrong questions or I'm blind... Likely both!

Doing some research on the Ktech website it looks like the part numbers are the same for fork carts of those years so I don't see why it shouldn't work.

I can't say for sure (regarding the STR), but, Daytona forks changed in 09 to have both high and low speed compression. I assume the STR forks did the same, just a few years later. This did change the cartridges inside the forks. Or they didn't change to include high/low speed compression, but only changed to include abs sensors which did not change the cartridges. Bikebandit may have the answers you seek.
