I've got the motorrad somer CF mud guard and took it off to do a good thorough clean before the big trip.. Here's what I found.. Just need some deck chairs (sans germans?) and a bit of sun (might have to leave the UK for that one)

Oh and here's what I uncovered by taking the front sprocket cover off.. Yummo!

Thankfully the bike is back to pristine condition, coated liberally in ACF 50, exhaust nicely polished back to a mirror finish..

So you're going at last. Where are you heading to?

Going to start at Hinckley with a factory tour, then if weather's looking ok: maybe take some windy roads in the UK, get the ferry over, then bang across to the alps.. Still figuring out all the other places. Will hit barcelona mid november to catch up with friends.

Well, I had it stripped down to this state:

Even cleaned out the crap in here.

Bikinis? Hrmm.. That's where the plan went wrong: garage must have been too cold for the beach babes to turn up.
