Hi,
I am new to San Diego and was wondering if anyone can recommend any good/reliable shops. I know there is Rocket Motorcycles but was looking for independent Triumph specialist that hopefully have better prices. I need to have my charging/R/R system checked out I think

The best recommendations I have heard of are for North County Yamaha and the dealership in Brea (Orange County).

EDIT: When comparing fork oil changes witha couple independent shops I know of, Trackoholics in Oceanside was the cheapest.

Bummer, you're pretty far from the shops I like. +1 to Southern California Triumph (Brea), NCY (San Marcos) and my favorite is Trackoholics (Oceanside), who can check out your R/R. Not a big fan of Rocket personally.

Have you tried giving Lee's Cycle a jingle? They are on Aero drive just off the 15 freeway (about 10 min from you). They seem to have an answer to everything with competative pricing.
