Hey guys, so I was in contact with Scott Denison of Seat Concepts recently about making a seat for the Street Triple. For those unfamiliar with Seat Concepts they make AWESOME adventure and upright bike seats. I had a SC seat on my WR250X and it took the seat from unforgiving 2x4 to a forgiving 2x6 board. I've always had a problem with my Striple where it pushes me forward into the tank putting me on the narrowest and thinnest part of the seat vs where you should be farther back in the seat. A seat concepts seat would likely fix this issue plus make the seat even more enjoyable on long rides to and from the canyons. The other big advantage of the SC seat vs the Sargent or Mustang or whatever is that it doesn't significantly alter the looks of the seat enough to make it an eyesore which in my opinion is a big plus. I attached a Tiger 800 seat picture as example.
The only problem is that the Striple is not on Seat Concepts website as they haven't had any requests for one yet. After speaking with Scott from SC he informed me to put one into production we would need to summon about 15 people looking to purchase one. Which shouldn't be terribly hard considering the fanbase that on T675. The seats are very affordable, usually sub $200, and would be put on the OEM seat pan. If we can drum up some support I'll shoot him a link to the thread and we can get the ball rolling on making a mad comfy seat.
