Even if you have Triumph's supposedly "new and improved" coolant hose clamps like I do on my '15 675R, they aren't. Either stick with the worm drive style or Oetiker clamps. An hour into our 6-hour endurance race yesterday, one of the hoses popped off on the front straight and ended our race with a highside. Rider walked away, fortunately.

That's really unlucky, those clamps actually do seem to fit very tight, I replaced that exact clamp on mine with a worm drive clamp purely because I couldn't get it back on there properly with my tools.
Just another PSA on worm clamps. You need to run a safety wire across the flat in the screw and tie it back to the other side. I had a worm gear back off of my exhaust protector last weekend and it came off. And it was really tight!

I've gone through so many issues with melting hoses and broken clamps on this bike... I removed all the squeeze clamps because of the above reasons and replaced them with very nice worm drive clamps. I had one of those snap in half on me. The only times I've ever crashed this bike have been because of coolant/water on the tire from a hose or a clamp failure. It makes it hard to ride it confidently. One was a bad highside that crashed me out of the lead, got lucky enough to just have a wicked bruise on my leg from that one; can't believe I didn't get run over. I am pretty over all the failures. I am hoping that Samco hoses and Oetiker clamps will solve this issue once and for all.

We had the same issue on our RSV4. Hoses didn’t pop off as they started to weep first, swapped them all with ring grips and to date so far so good.
I find it amazing that in the 21st century the manufacturers can’t get a simple clamp to work when they release these bikes out onto the general population
