Here I thought it was just me...thunderdawg said:Just changed oil and filter today. I added a total of 3 liters and ended up with the oil level about 3/4 between the two ribs in the hash-marked area. The level was checked after running the engine briefly and with the bike vertical but not on a paddock stand. Don't know why the discrepancy between the manual (2.6 liters with filter change) and everyone else's experience. Maybe the dipsticks are incorrect.
This is a 4 year old thread, but PROOF THAT THE SEARCH BUTTON WORKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:rofl:Called three dealerships and got quotes for the 675's years 06-08, they say they add four quarts, but once getting further in conversation with them, they actualy do 3.4 including filling the filter and run through all the gears, then check the level. after checking, add or remove accordingly, hope this helps!
