I just bought 2 OEM quickshifters for me 2006 and my friends 2010 daytonas.

The thing is that my friend has a connector for it because his is newer but what way should i go for monting a OEM om my 2006? 😊

I may be wrong but I thought the OEM quick shifter only worked on 08+ bikes. I went with a bazzaz quick shifter on my 06 track bike and its been working great

Yes, as long as it has the right map for your bike.

You don't need anything extra. Just cut the plug off the OEM QS and wire it into the 2 holes provided for the quickshifter on the Power Commander.

That's to connect a small 9v battery.
I've only ever connected an OEM quickshifter with a Power Commander V before. Maybe the PC3 is different.
Watch from 18.35 and you can see how it connects to a PCV.
