I figured I'd gauge some interest on what I think could be a great event. I've been all over the east coast for work but I'm now settled down in Manchester and am the current GM of The River Card Room in Milford.

I figured Memorial weekend would be a great time for the ride to kick off the unofficial start of summer. It would consist of an entry fee which would include donuts and coffee during registration, a nice ride through NH with 5 or 7 stops to grab a playing card, and then end back here at The River where we would award prizes, have a cookout, other giveaways, and either an entry into a private NESR Texas Hold 'Em tournament or some table games chips if you'd rather play other games.

For those of you unfamiliar with The River, or gambling that is currently legal in NH, we are a small casino that benefits numerous local NH charities. We have texas hold 'em tournaments, blackjack, roulette, craps, 3 card poker, let it ride and other games. There is a $4 bet max in NH for the table games, but we hold poker tournaments with buy ins from $1 up to $150. 35% of our revenues go to the 37 different charities we work with.

Let me know if you would be interested in participating, have questions or suggestions, and hopefully there will be a follow up thread with solid details in the next couple weeks.

Wish I was still in Maine. I'd be all over this. Seems like a great cause!

Good luck with the turnout and enjoy!

Well, I'm interested. No plans for Saturday... I don't see this being a rousing roar of success either... Where are the riders??

Well I got tied up bringing on new projects for work and fell behind on this event. Its not going to go off for Memorial Day weekend, maybe later in the summer I'll be able to get one together.

Not sure it would've been a good enough event to come to NH from WA though wiffle ... hah

Ah, my location is out of date. I've moved to York County.

I figured as much.

Some great riding up in your neck of the woods. Hopefully as scenic as WA but it doesn't rain all summer.
Not nearly as epic as the scenery in WA. However, the weather is MUCH more forgiving and the riding season much longer.

Kangamangus is calling. I might have to make a trip to Acadia and Baxter state park before too long.

I found a chain of roads on the way home from work that are worth a GoPro run. Stand by for the wifflevids thread. Got a few to post.
