Ok. So I dont act my age. I'm a 48 year old metal music fan. :headbang:
Who's with me? What are some of your favorite bands? Which shows have you attended?
I just love the power of the music, and the technical drumming and guitar work.
Yeah...some of the "singing" gets a little over the top. But it's not all bad.

This was on my mind tonight, as I was at a show tonight and met a dude wearing a Triumph hat, and found out he has a Speed Triple, and his dad has a Street Triple.

This is the show we were at tonight. Lamb of God is one of my favorites. I just love the drumming of Chris Adler, and his brother Willie's guitar style. Although Mark Morton kicks azz as well on guitar.

Yea. My Brother and I got to meet Matt before the show. Another band called Wilson was there and they put on a hell of a live show
Trivium was insane. I love those guys live.

Couple weeks later I went and saw TREMONTI again in johnson city
They were finishing the hard drive live tour with Byzantine (small time metal band with some insane skill and great stage presence) and Wilson. Who really grew on me

I hung out after the show and talked with Mark again, hung out with the band a bit and drank several beers with Wilson.

Also got to see blues traveler this year
A couple others I'm probably forgetting

Going to see KSE in a few weeks
Hoping to see Ghost here in k-town
Check out the song Cirice. Very interesting band from Sweden or some place. I like their acoustic stuff a lot

Will be seeing alter bridge this year and they already said new album for 2017. Pretty excited for that

Music music music!

GnR just announced 21 cities for their summer tour.

Also, rumor flying around that Axl may be replacing Brian Johnson from AC/DC for their tour as well, juts as a guest singer. If it happens, that can go so many ways. Would be interesting to see at least, that is if Axl decides to show up for a concert at all hah
No luck getting Metallica tix. Sold out quickly. People from all over the country were buying them. Some from OTHER countries are coming as well!!

In This Moment did not disappoint saturday night!

The opening bands were interesting. Never heard of VIMIC. Turns out it's Joey Jordanson's new band. Anybody not in the know, Joey was the drummer for Slipknot.

Motionless in White kicked was. I've never listened to them before. I was impressed.
