Cool. Not sure what kind of riding you're into, I do 95% of my riding around the northern subs. and between Marietta and downtown (commuting to work, etc.) occasionally get up north, mainly Dahlonega/Suches area, but i'm into whatever. Definitely know of some good roads around Marietta/Sandy Springs/Roswell area. PM me if you wanna try to meet up sometime.
Cheers

Well guys, it's about one month since I picked up my girl. I have almost 1800 miles on her, and the sad part is, I've only run into one Triumph, a '10 flat orange St3. That was on Burnt Mt. 3 weeks ago.
Anyway, I will be headed towards the QT right there on 515 at Jasper. I will be there about 7:30am on Saturday, weather permitting. Then breakfast and north.
Is there anybody up for this?

I will be meeting a guy by the name of Paul at the QT. He told me about running up 515 further north and then coming back down rt.60 towards the Suches area. He told me it's a nice ride down a twisty valley, then depending on the weather, I can't see why a run up Blood Mtn.wouldn't be in the cards.
Paul's a good guy, knows the area well, and will ride his own pace as he's riding a Concours 1400.
If your still interested, and can show other roads while up in that neck of the woods, I say bring it on.

Whitewi, sure does seem to be some Triumph's around. It's getting hooked up with them.
I can tell you this, if I'm not working and it's not raining, I want to ride. Hit me with a pm about any afternoon.
I can also tell you, if Woot is paying attention, and you get hooked up with him, he's a hoot. See that, I rhyme. Woot is a hoot.

I wanted revive this thread as I am new to the area from Indianapolis. I ride a 2012 street triple r. Any other triumph riders in the area? I currently live in the east point / college park area but am looking for a permanent place inside the city to avoid the crazy traffic to work.

I used to live in north Cumming. Still own a house there up off HWY 9 north of 369.

Man I miss having those hills in my back yard ... such a short trip up to Blood Mtn and the like. I used to take my Speedmaster up there all the time. I was just up there for a Triumph rally a few weekends ago, actually.

Anyway, I then moved into town and now to Smyrna. Not as many fun roads around here ... but I make due. I never thought my regular route would have Kennesaw or Alpharetta as a destination ;-)
