Have fun with this one :biggrinjester:

http://www.nationalreview.com/corne...vote-against-raising-debt-limit-andrew-c-mcca

From Sen. Obama's Floor Speech, March 20, 2006:
"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America's debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can't pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government's reckless fiscal policies. … Increasing America's debt weakens us domestically and internationally. Leadership means that "the buck stops here." Instead, Washington is shifting the burden of bad choices today onto the backs of our children and grandchildren. America has a debt problem and a failure of leadership. Americans deserve better."
------
At the time, Senator Obama was urging Congress not to tolerate an increase that would bring the debt ceiling to $9 trillion. Under President Obama, the debt ceiling has been raised to $14.3 trillion. Even without counting most unfunded liabilities, the national debt is now calculated to be nearing $14.1 trillion. It increases about $4.22 billion per day (each citizen's share stands at roughly $45K). Thus, Democrats will soon demand that the debt ceiling be raised, lest the sky fall. When they do, they will be asking for a significant boost in a ceiling that is already 60 percent higher than the one Barack Obama said was "a sign of leadership failure" five years ago.

puppet "yard-boy" for the banks We need to end the FED default on the debt it is fraudulent anyway "the banks never had it to loan out"Real debt numbers are 28+ Trillion (not including derivatives)= debt would be in the quadrillions......

So yeah End the FED hang the bankers for their treason, on not only the USA but the entire world. End fractional reserve banking, bring all outsourced jobs back to this country.

The U.S. needs to issue its OWN debt free currency just like the last "REAL" president we had JFK.

Times will be tough, develop community's in your local area , people get off the mind control set of Jersey shore ,American Idol etc.

I know Don,Sp00ky and quite a few others on this board see it, but to those that don't you do know that TARP ,QE1 QE2 and now QE3 are just buying time, for the inevitable collapse.

Too many Americans do not see how far we have fallen and do not want to see, because to see it means you have to acknowledge that everything you have believed and put your faith in up to this point has been a lie. To see it means an admission that our system was indeed flawed and had holes in it which have been exploited. To see it means to admit we ARE humans, not unique, not special, just human no different from a Russian or a Chinese or a Frenchman. When you bomb an Iraqi you are killing your brother.

The hardest thing any human can do is self-evaluation. It is painful to look in a mirror and acknowledge your failings. Imagine how hard this must be for our proud nation-state America.

The Banksters are taking over because WE allowed it to happen. WE fell into their trap of materialism where money is more important than human life and WE support a legal system that allows the rich to go unpunished no matter the transaction.

Well said.

It's the truth.

However, most people are too self-deluded and are only interested in themselves. They care not for the plight of others, they only pay lip service to improving poorer nations and poorer peoples sub-standard living conditions.

America is going to fall flat on it's collective @rse soon, simply because the majority of it's people can't see or don't care to see the disaster that is hanging over their country.

Brainwashed. Fed crap for years and years until they believe it.

Meanwhile, the rich rake in the profits and the poor sink deeper into the abyss of hopelessness and unemployment hoping for a miracle to save them from their plight.

Big Brother gets ever closer to complete domination and hardly anyone is standing up to stop it.

Can *YOU* see it coming?

 and thats bad?...
Nah, just stirring.

I don't want to be an arse because there are people on this forum who are serving in the military, and I respect that's the situation they find themselves in; that's what they need to survive.

But I don't respect warmongering, racism and the stereotyping of whole nations as terrorists when your average Joe, Abdullah or whoever is just a guy trying to make a living and look after his family. People are just people, and the vast majority of right-minded humans just want a peaceful life.

There was a piece on TV last night here in Oz where an Australian news crew was interviewing people on the street in the states, asking them if they felt it was the right of the U.S to invade and even nuke another country if it simply saw fit to do so. I was appalled by how many people seemed to think this was perfectly appropriate. I remember that one woman simply replied "Nuke 'em? Hell yeah! They'd do it to us!"

When attitudes like this prevail, people have stopped thinking of each other on a human level. They're just dividing the world into nations labelled good and bad, those deserving a nuke, those that don't. They're not seeing ordinary men, women and children anymore ... and that's a tragedy.

Sometimes, you just have to cut your losses, but that means admitting you're wrong, something America has time and again proved unable to do.

And no one forced the ones in the forces (huhu) to serve, they could as well stay unemployed, or have a low earning job, like the average Joe  It's not as if they weren't aware the country loves wars of aggression.

Obama has nothing to do with this, as usual, the right wing leaves a devastated country and accuses the left of not fixing it properly, privatize profit, nationalize losses, that's the motto.

Just stopping the wars and taking money where there is some would solve it all in a jiffy, despite cries of "soshulizm !".

If Obama has nothing to do with this, then why has spending increased damn near exponentially under his presidency? congress may have put the budget together.....but HE still had to sign those bills to make them law.
Again, the left/right dichotomy is a falsehood. Classic example of divide and conquer.
The Debt has been increasing regardless of the party in power.

True True but all prezi's after JFK have been taking their orders from their offshore owners mainly the IMF and World Bank, BIS is the format, the FED is an extension arm of the scum just like the Bank of England and whats the big one in Australia? and Bundes Bank in Germany.

But anyway each country has their own extension arm of the IMF and world bank, The FED and Bank of England are the head of all these arms think of them as the "Managers" all the others are "Asst Managers" and the IMF and World Bank are the "Owners" and the Bank of International Settlements is the Format on which they run.....ENSLAVE the people!
