Hi,

I'm converting my 07 to track only duty in the coming months. Would somebody mind pm'ing instructions for keyless operation please?

Thanks a lot!

any chance of getting the newer 09-12 plug alone for the harness (the terminals too?). got the older style woodcraft harness by mistake thinking it would work.
The only place I've ever seen the exact plug is Eastern Beaver. I've found other Sumitomo DL090 online, but not the eight position. If someone has a source in the states, I'd love to know. Shipping for small orders from EB is prohibitively expensive.

It's about half-way down the page:

Me too. I imagine there is a USA source, but I couldn't find one.

Edit: maybe this place (I think MacBandit sent me this link):

Would someone PM me please?
I'll sell the one i've been using on my 2010 for $20 plus shipping.. basically just hot wires the ignition, so you have to use the switch on the right side..

On a side note, when you do this, the tail light always has power going to it, which wouldn't have been a big deal except that is where the power for my bazzaz kit came from, so I had to put a switch in the wire so the bazzaz kit wouldn't be drawing power 24/7
Installed the Woodcraft unit on my 2011 tonight. Plug and play, simple as can be. Putting it in takes seconds, then you just have to fasten the wiring up. Of course, I haven't removed my keyswitch yet, that will be a bit more work.

It won't work if your bike has an immobiliser, which apparently they do in some markets.

For me, the bit of expense is worth not having to hack and splice.

Since mine is a race bike and already hacked to pieces I went the free way :smile2:

Was very easy and the PM I got was spot on. I wanted to double check and make sure it was right so I jumped all of the wires 1st and it was perfect so I cut behind the plug about 4 inches and soldered and heat shrank all of the wires. Now my plan is to sell the key and take setup...not sure how much, but I am sure there is a market for it. >:)
could someone pm me instructions for an 06 daytona please? looking to convert this over to full track.
Can someone please pm me a copy of the instructions for my 07 daytona?
It's a track only bike and I would like to remove the ignition and key ...one less thing to forget when I am packing for the weekend at the track.
I know I' resurrecting an old thread, but can I get a PM for the keyless mod for a 06 Daytona track only bike?

The painless method? Go to www.woodcraft-cfm.com and order a keyless ignition harness for your bike. It plugs into the factory harness connections and is absolutely foolproof, changing your "kill switch" into the ignition switch and eliminating the entire key switch and steering stem lock system.
Looking to turn my 14' 675 into a track bike aswell! I can send you my vin if needed!!
