Hi all. From NC and really enjoy putting rubber to asphalt. We have some awesome roads here and I ride with a select group who are all talented experienced riders. I'm in need of some help. I have took delivery of a 07 675 back in March of this year and my problem started in July of this year and it's been @ the local dealer ever since. I've experienced a rectifier failure that cooked 2 batteries & the ecu. Now the bike won't start after replacing, rectifer, stator, ecu & battery. Have spark no fuel. Any thoughts. Thanks

Hi I'm Geoff, a french guy living in Hong Kong. I own a Daytona 675 black 08 for almost two years, and it's probably the only one circulating in here. It's my first bike and I already did a low side 6 months ago. I was engaging a fly-over but behind the traffic was stuck. I did really wrong by using my rear brake to stop, so I locked my rear wheel and slide from side to side. Trying to avoid hiting the last car, I focused on the side of the road, where I finally crashed. Got a big laceration on my left knee, but nothing broken luckily. The bike was all scratched on the lh side. Now I got back confidence, learnt a lot from this accident. Yesterday I just noticed the steering limiter has gone, months after my crash, and left a huge hole in the frame. That's why I decided to join this forum, to try to find solutions to this problem. Feeling really bad about it. Hopefully I'll find other interesting info about this great bike, and help others if I can.... Cheers peeps.

Hello Im Justin from Pittsburgh, PA. I have owned an 09 triumph daytona 675 for about 2 years now and I love it. Been around bikes all my life. Mostly MX. When i turned 16 got a street and have had one ever since. Out of all the 600cc bikes that I've owned the triple trumps them all. Stay up riders!

Hi, I'm Bryan. From Concord, NC. Don't own a 675 yet. Currently riding a 2015 Yamaha R3 as a daily commuter (now over 7000 miles on it since the end of July.) Just here to gather information and do some research to help guide my decision on what to look for since it will primarily be just a pleasure bike. I also have a Yamaha VStar 650 bobber that I'm putting together and building for my brother in law as what is now going to be a very late Christmas present.

About me, I'm a mechanic by trade. I build high performance 3000GTs for a living, and I only just got back onto a motorcycle a few months ago after taking several years off.

Greetings from PA

Excited to be part of the Triumph Community!

I've just purchased a new 2015 Daytona 675R and I'm dying to put some miles on her!

If anyone is in the north east area of the States feel free to shoot me a PM for group rides or track days! I'll post up in the regional section of the forum if there is one!

Thanks!:grin2:

Hello all,

newb D675 owner here, got a 06 track only D675 to replace my tried and true battle hardened 05 CBR600RR. Mostly do track weekends at NYST and looking forward to seeing how the D675 does compared to my Honda. Been lurking the forum and reading up on suspension bits as I suspect that's what I will need to swap out for my light weight.

Catch me at NYST this summer and say Hi!

Name is Mick and I'm currently down at Fort Rucker for Army Flight school then I'll head back to Iowa to fly Blackhawks for the Guard.

I had a 2006 Vulcan Nomad 1600 in Iowa, but sold it before coming down here thinking I could go a year without a bike. I was wrong. My first bike I ever had was a Kawi ZR-7 and I decided I wanted a naked bike again, so I started looking for a Street Triple and found a white 2008.

Howdy folks - my name is Davy and originally I'm from Norn Iron (that's Northern Ireland to non-Norn Irish people...). I've lived in PA for 12 years, married with 2 kids, both born in the US. Been riding for some years - current bikes are a 2012 R1 and a 2015 Harley Wide Glide. Will be picking up a 2015 675R tomorrow. Fender eliminator, frame / engine protection and double bubble will likely be the only mods since the R1 satisfies my need for serious speed.

What's up guys... New to this forum thing but figured I give it a shot?? I'm living in Okinawa Japan just picked up my 2007 triumph Dayton, loving it so far it's fast, light and nimble I'm switching over from a 2009 GSX-R 600
Sweet bike! How've you been dealing with the slippery coral roads, ridiculously low speed limits, and number of cops on the highways? To me it seems like one of those pimped up scooters would be a better choice when living there :p
