Can I post Images?
Images can indeed be shown in your posts. However, there is no facility at present for uploading images directly to this board. Therefore you must link to an image stored on a publicly accessible web server, e.g. http://www.some-unknown-place.net/my-picture.gif. You cannot link to pictures stored on your own PC (unless it is a publicly accessible server) nor to images stored behind authentication mechanisms such as Hotmail or Yahoo mailboxes, password-protected sites, etc. To display the image use either the BBCode tag or appropriate HTML (if allowed).[/quote]
For me, the easiest way I found was to use a free hosting site. My personal choice is [URL]www.photobucket.com[/URL], but others use such sites as [URL]http://www.imageshack.us/[/URL], [URL]http://www.fotki.com/[/URL], or others...
PhotoBucket for example, once you have uploaded your pictures, actually gives you the link with the [img] tag already there...so you can conveniently copy it, and paste it into the post of your choice.
It will end up looking something like (without the spaces):![]()
It's THAT easy!
If anybody has anything else to add...please feel free to chime in. Thanks. 8)

Reposting the "tutorial" on using our Photo gallery:
Creating an album
1. Click Create / Order my Albums
2. Click the 'New Album' button, then type the name you want over 'New Album' (at bottom)
3. Then click 'Apply Modifications' and click the 'ok' popup
4. then click 'continue' on the next screen (don't ask me why they designed it that way!)
Putting photos into albums
1. Click the 'Upload file' link in the upper right of the screen
2. on the next screen you can select up to 5 files and/or 3 link locations to get pics from, fill them in and click 'Continue'
3. Click 'Continue' again...
4. select the album you're putting the pics in from the 'picklist'
5. type in the file name (description) and a longer description if you want, you can also add keywords so that people will find the pic if they're searching, e.g. swingarm, brake caliper, etc. This is a cool feature, as the database grows
6. click 'Continue' again
7. " " to get to the home page, or any of the links. You're done
Posting pics in a forum topic
Just copy the pic's address (url) by right-clicking it, choosing 'Properties', highlighting the URL and doing Ctrl-C.
Use the img tags when posting, and paste the URL in between them.
You're done
