I hope get an answer I'm sure someone will know.
I tried without a dash and with a Street triple dash on my Daytona with no luck with either. I then got hold of a Daytona dash and it started straight away. I was told that they require the original dash due to the electronics.

You have to have a dash unless you make some really significant mods and change out the ECM. The stock ECM requires the gauges...

You can't do it the ECU actually has to communicate with the dash to verify the bike is what it is suppose to be before it will start.

You can swap dashes from any 675 even the new ones with the different dash but you have to unlock the ecu once connecting it. I don't know if TuneECU has this function yet it's something the OEM diagnostic software has.
