Hi! I’m new, I have a 2011 street triple that I’m making into a Daytona more or less for the track. Daytona’s are rare and expensive around the SE and I got this bike for a steal, hence the conversion. I used to have a 2007 speed triple 1050 also.

This is how it’s sitting right now. Just has Daytona clip ons, Daytona rear shock, Daytona rearsets and a master cylinder from a 2009 zx6r I had laying on the shelf. Rest of the parts are on order. It will essentially be a full Daytona when all is said and done.

Daytona'sare expensive and rare in my area, and I picked this up very cheap. So I can do the conversion and still be in it for less money than it would have cost to buy a 2011 Daytona with 15k miles. Most expensive parts so far have been the headlight and ram Air duct and fairing stay.
