Do any of you have experience with both of these dealerships? What are your impressions/preferences?

I bought my bike from Erico in March, and initially I was delighted with the buying process. Since then, my enthusiasm has faded into outright dislike. The people, individually, are very nice... but I don't get a real strong "on the ball" vibe from the business.

I've never been to Foothills, but seeing as how they just undercut Erico's quote on installing a new exhaust system by 50%, I'll probably end up going there next week.

As an aside... is there some other place in the Denver metro area that's any good for service?

Your qualms sound pretty vague... We often have much more precise problems with stealerships.

Foothills rebuilt my motor under warranty a few years ago and it took them 14 weeks to finish and then when they told me to come down from Aspen to pick the bike up it wasnt actually ready and on the test ride they dropped a valve stem seal. So i had to get a hotel and a train ride home and wait another 6 weeks. There communication was below par and there techs at the time seemed undertrained.

Then after i got the bike back i put a full system on it and took it to erico to have the tor tune put on, and when they told me to come get the bike the cel was on and i asked them about it and they said it was because of the exhaust. SMH. Personally neither of them know Wtf is going on
. I dont own a triumph anymore because of this..

It's not in CO, but PJ's in Albuquerque, NM has always done right by me. I have purchased 3 bikes there already. It IS a bit out of the way, but they do good work.

Bought my bike from Erico. I was waiting for the '12 street triple in white. It became pretty maddening. I put a deposit down because they said they should get one in two weeks. After that date changed 5 times I became pretty irritable. The sales guy offered me a black one at cost, but I didn't want to settle. Anyways, almost two months later the bike came in. I got the promotional free plastics but they never bother to contact me when the parts arrive. I've been stopping by the last couple weeks and one piece will be in. I ask why they won't contact me, I get some runaround excuse that they aren't aware when the parts come in. It's a really neat looking dealership, but ya, completely aloof. Think they'd throw in something extra for the miserable first buy experience, nope the salesperson just points me to the parts counter and says you can buy whatever you want over there. I have the service maintenance program, so I'll let ya know how Service is after my first one. I've been doing my own to this point, but I'd like to take it in for them to look it over.

Sorry man not to be a dick but why didn't you go for that and buy and new tank and plastics to change the color? You would have come up on top.

And I bought my bike from Foothills and so far their service dept has been pretty lousy.

I bought parts from them Erico but that is all, my bike came from MO. They were okay. One parts dude is pretty good, the other one doesn't know crap. I've talked to the sales guys, they seem legit but they don't budge on their prices for anything and they have to look up information on the bikes. Dude didn't know how much power a Speed Triple put out or the msrp for a Tuono...kind of lame for a guy who is trying to sell the thing. Clothing guy was pretty cool, no complaints with him, cool to talk to. Lots of sweet bikes and a really nice set up in that building.

I tried to buy my bike at Foothills and they were working with me a lot on the price and aftermarket stuff but I ended up finding a smoking deal that they couldn't match. I can't speak for any other departments though.
