Has anyone had any experience with the EvoTech Street Defender frame sliders for the Daytona 675? just looking for some reviews.

they are a no cut slider, which is what i'm looking for, as i'm a little hesitant to start chopping up the fairings on my 2008 SE.

they look like just about any other no-cut/dual point mounting bracket frame slider. its an italian company, here's the link to their site, http://www.evotech-rc.it/product_info.php/products_id/232

a local shop that i buy a lot of my parts from recommended them to me instead of the LSL sliders. since they are having a pretty nice sale on them. i trust the guys, they sell good items, and ive been buying off them enough that they always try to steer me in the right direction. I'm only asking for opinions because i've never heard of evotech before either.

they stick out a little too far IMHO.....seems like they'd snag on something and flip the bike.

have you tried looking at Sato Racing frame sliders? Those barely go past the fairing so if you do go down.....your fairing might get scratched up a bit...BUT...less likely that your bike will flip over.
