Can't swing this one but plan on hitting up Cresson at the end of April. Looks like a blast.

Dave, how are the rental suits? My textiles only zip up for about 10 inches in the back.
Cresson is a fun track...who are you riding with at Cresson at the end of April?
You will definitely need a suit if that is what you have now. The rentals are nothing fancy, but they get the job done.

How much is all this?
It is $120 for one full day, which includes track time, instruction, lunch, and free leather rentals for first timers.

RideSmart is a great way for first timers to get on the track.

Yup, RideSmart. Sorry, it looks like it's the first weekend of May. Will probably hit the Saturday, May 5th session, although if the Sunday 1.7 mile track is better?...

What's this about first timers getting free leather rentals? That would be a great $50 savings. I don't see this mentioned anywhere on their site.

I actually just looked at the course layouts. Thinking the 1.3 might be more fun with all of its connecting turns. The 1.7 has quite a few long straights. Dave, what are your thoughts on the two track layouts?

The 1.3 is slower, more technical, and has a lot more elevation change.

The 1.7 is faster with a good mix of high speed turns and slow technical sections with some elevation change but less than the 1.3. The straights on the 1.7 are not as long as they may appear on a map.

Here is a video of the current lap record holder going around the 1.7...this is not the lap record pace and they are only in the straights for 3-4 seconds:

I really like the 1.7. A lot of guys on 250s and minis seem to like the 1.3
